I've always wanted to know, where do wrestling feds get their tables?
It seems that all the federations (in the US) use the same type of table. I'm guessing these tables aren't especially made because shitty independent feds use the same tables as WWE and if you see any backyard clips even those stupid kids have the same type of tables.
So I'm asking, where the hell do you buy those tables? When ladders and stuff were used JR used to always refer to 'Home Depot'. Does anyone know for sure?

They steal them from highschool cafeterias.

You've heard the reference "Bingo Hall" for ECW's Arena, right?
They actually had bingo there weekly. ECW got their tables through them. If you watch there's a few instances where they bring out a table with a bad scratch in it or something. I'm guessing they get some what of a discount on those from the owners or possibly a few freebies. I'm also guessing they paid for the rest.
I remember hearing a story about old ladies being upset after at least one show because of a shortage of tables.
The rest of the promotions... I imagine they just buy them. WWE possibly from the makers.

Those are pretty common tables though.

Yeah. I used to have a job delivering party equipment, tents, tables, chairs, etc. The tables we rented are just like the ones they use.

Yeah, they are one of the common designs when it comes to folding tables.
The Japanese tables on the other hand... youch. They're hardcore.

I went onto the Staples website and I found this:

It looks like the proper tables. 30 dollars per table!

Yeah, but rumor has it that Vince wipes his ass with three ten dollar bills everytime he goes to the bathroom.
Oh, and most other feds don't use a whole lot of tables. TNA uses a decent bit, but they shoot at Universal, who I imagine buys a good bit through wholesale, so TNA is possibly paying less. I could be wrong, though... maybe all the $30 tables they've bought are the reason they're in debt.
As for the indie feds... I'm sure they buy a few tables from Staples and what not, but a lot of the time I see scratched tables or ones where the trim is coming loose. I imagine they get these cheaper or else some of the folks just steal them.
Personally, I'd like to think that somewhere, Tony Atlas is posing as a school janitor and is loading his Chevy Van with as many as these bad boys as he can a day and selling them to indy feds around the world for $5 a pop.

Yeah, forgot about those. If you watch backstage, WWE uses some of the tables for other things like food or checking out Lita's weekly STD test to see if the guys still wanna hit it.
