...Though in six minutes, people will probably start the "Y2J IS GOING 2 TNA!" shit again.

- The latest on Chris Jericho is that if he does indeed return to wrestling it will be for WWE. Jericho is not viewed as an "on-call" performer such as Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan, he is being seen as a "former wrestler" for the time being. He is still in good terms with WWE.
"Chris wasn't worried about burning a bridge; it's not burning a bridge if you're not worried about being able to walk back over it," one source said. The question now is not if Jericho will work a WWE match again but if he will ever return full-time, since he has tasted life outside of wrestling.

Jericho is starring in a Shitty Sci Fi movie, evidently.

How do I know it's shitty?

It's being made by Sci-Fi.

Ignorning the news, I hope he's back for mania, as I'm going. :(

He's got three months. That's about 85 days more than he needs to shoot this movie, so maybe he will be.

Fuck. Four months. Add about 30 days to the joke.

Well, from the Observer Newsletter:

"Konnan saw Chris Jericho at the funeral for Guerrero and asked him if he's interested in coming in, and when. Jericho told him that right now he is happy being away from wrestling and right now isn't thinking about coming back".

What a classless move on the part of Konnan, if that's true.

Yeah, which more or less confirms exactly what was said about him not being considered on-call, but rather a former wrestler.

Someone should throw a shoe at Konnan... no, a boot.

Priest: "Today we celebrate the life of Eduardo Gory Guerrero..."
Konnan: "Horale homes, I know this is a weird time to ask, but...we really could you in TNA, man."
Jericho: :wtf:

I don't really find it that classless. I understand that they're at Eddie's funeral and all but it's not that bad. I've been to my fair share of funerals people talk and socialize at them. I've heard laughter at funerals before. It's not classes, it's just....I dunno.

It's not even laughter or socialising, that's business talk. Yes, I've talked and socialised at funerals. That's different from "Hey, gonna come work with us?"

People socialize about business. For example, father and son are firemen. They get together at their family BBQ. Pretty sure they'll be talking about firefighting. Example 2, Two guys from TPWW Forums meet in real life, I bet they talk about wrestling and computers. Same thing applies here. Two wrestlers get together at another wrestler's funeral, guess what they're going to talk about after they discuss the weather? That's why I don't call that classless. I guess we see things differently, which is cool.

Yes, people socialise about business.

People also socialise about sex, but if someone asked if I was going to "tap" the deceased wife I'd probably hit him.

Just because you socialise doesn't make all topics equally appropriate.

So talking about beastiality and necrophilia at a funeral in inappropriate?

In that case, I have some phone calls to make. :-\

I don't find business an inappropriate topic at a funeral

Indeed.

Made me think of that Robin Williams movie where he would try and sell Cadillacs at funerals.

For you sake, be sure not to ever do it. Even if you don't think it's inappropriate, most people do, and you might find yourself getting, at the very least, a black eye.
