I haven't really seen many updates on his condition on here lately, so i went looking. Heres something i found on obsessedwithwrestling.com. If you guys haven't heard, you would probably appriciate knowing...

*May 2004: John Tenta revealed on the wrestlecrap forum that he has advanced bladder cancer and will be starting chemotherapy..

*August 17, 2004: John Tenta announced on the WrestleCrap Forum that he has been given 13-to-18 months to live due to cancer..
~~~He has a new tumor in his left lung. 2 lymph nodes are enlarged in his heart & he's undergoing 4 chemotherapy sessions a day..
*November 2005: John Tenta was told the tumor in his hip didn't react to chemo-therapy and has grown larger..
Man, when I read the title I got a feeling in my gut that he had passed.
It's a shame. :(
My father had bladder cancer. It ranks pretty high on the discomfort scale when it comes to cancers. The doctors had to recreate a bladder for him and he had to cathederize himself so he could piss.
Of what? A bladder? A cathader? Of Tenta?
Anyway, this sucks. I had that same gut sinking feeling when I read the title, hoping he hadn't passed. Geez, fight on, big John. Fight on.
FYI to those who don't know... John Tenta was most famous for playing "Earthquake" of late 80s/early 90s WWF programming.
He was the first heel I vividly remember, but also the first heel I loved. He was both terrifying and cool at the same time... when the big rumbles started for his music, you'd always know: EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!
