They're going to publicly execute Jarrett? That would certainly change TNA's booking direction.

Rhyno will job to Jarrett. It will change TNA by killing what little audience it had. :shifty:

I bet they'll build it up so that it makes Christian look like a piece of shit.

Then they'll debut Nidia.

Or maybe they'll have to change their name to "TNW" because TNA Airlines is suing them. :shifty:

Doesn't every TNA pay-per-view threaten to "change TNA forever"? You can't keep hooking people with the same old tired-ass tagline, then not deliver. Although, I guess that's what TNA is best at, disappointment.

It'a that Barbed Wire Massacure match that's what's changing TNA forever, I happen to think that's what TNA is going for.

WRONG. Try again.

We already know about the Barbed Wire Match. This is something different.

I know! They'll cancel the Barbedwire match and host a technical clinic instead.

This technical clinic, of course, would be for all the CZW marks who fainted from anger after hearing they canceled the Barbedwire match...

In other words, about five people.

Okay come on, this is just being unfair and ridiculous. For the most part, TNA hasn't made such claims frequently. Also, they're a new company...so naturally tons of things will occur during their initial years which are to change the company in a drastic way. Last time the claim was made b/c of CC, and that was a legit claim.

they need that Thursday slot, and i think Spike is realising that, so i think its a matter of time before they do that, but i highly doubt that is something that will change TNA forever, yknow? Has to be another signee, but i really cant think who. Brock Lesnar anyone?

Jeff Jarrett's voice: BREAK THE WALLS DOOOOOOWWWWNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!

Jarrett: WELCOME TO... TOTAL NONSTOP JARRETT!

I don't know if it's unfair, but a lot of TNA PPV's I see always threaten to "Change the face of TNA!", or "Change wrestling forever!". Although, to their credit, Christian's debut was pretty good.

No way. They are in no way ready to go against WWE on Monday Nights, then again, that would change the face of Professional Wrestling again.

That's my guess.

Maybe it will be a Bret Hart appearance? Didn't some people think that would happen?

Anyway, if it's Brock Lesnar (promoting New Japan by working a few matches for TNA), the announcement Chris Benoit is on the way or a two-hour timeslot, then things could get interesting.

I'm praying for a 2-hour timeslot against RAW. That sure would make a very uninteresting wrestling industry a whole lot more interesting.

From Meltzer: "--Regarding TNA's big secret, the idea that it will change the face of wrestling, if it's what I'm expecting, is way overblown. Personally, to me, signing Christian was a bigger deal in the long-run, although it's possible this would be slightly bigger short-term, but only slightly if at all."

TNAWrestlingNews is reporting that Chris Kanyon is going to debut at Turning Point to fued with Raven...if that's the big suprise, I think we have a Over-Hype of the Year winner.

PullMyFinger
12-07-2005, 07:58 PM
No way. Well they did the same last time with Justin Credible. So they didn't declare that to be a shock either.

Also, I doubt TNA would want to really piss off fans and turn them away from the product. I'm also hoping that Meltzer is wrong...I really, really, really am hoping.

Wait, then again, TNA said that it'll change wrestling in 2006. So it has to be something that won't go into immediate effect. Having Kanyon will just be for that night, or even longer who knows...but he won't start in 2006.

The One
12-07-2005, 08:01 PM
It's probably TNA just announcing officially that TNA will have the first wrestling match of 2006...which is true as they are having a midnight special. If your up on the rumor mills this was announced a while ago, but TNA never officially announced it.

McLegend
12-07-2005, 08:16 PM
It might be a both of these, one of these, or none of these

1. TNA will be getting a primetime weekday slot
2. TNA will be doing shows outside of the Impact Zone and Florida.

Kane Knight
