FROM LORDS OF PAIN
It once seemed fitting to feature pro wrestler Ric Flair, one of the Carolina area's most well-known celebrities, in a public service announcement for the NFL's Carolina Panthers.
But, in the wake of his road rage charges, the team is no longer interested in featuring Flair in the home game scoreboard announcement that encouraged fans to act responsibly. He did not appear in the message that aired this weekend.
If the allegations hold up, Flair's words would be nothing short of hypocritical. The wrestler is accused of assaulting a 29-year-old driver and his car.
"We didn't want the message to be lost because of the circumstances of last week," Panthers spokesman Charlie Dayton said.

FROM LORDS OF PAIN
-- According to multiple sources, Vince McMahon continues to act very bizarrely backstage. He has been spending more time than ever behind closed doors in his make-shift offices, and he spends increasingly less time running walk-throughs for RAW and SmackDown! television segments. One source describes McMahon's recent behavior as "unpredictable."
-- Recent rumors that Jonathan Coachman receives a higher salary than Cole, Tazz and Lawler didn't sit well with his colleagues.
-- Part of WWE's desire to keep John Cena on top stems from his fantastic job of representing the company at public appearances. His being fan-friendly, in McMahon's eyes, offsets the fact that he sometimes receives boos.

# WWE has a plan in store for Trish Stratus to turn on Mickie James within the next few weeks. WWE thinks Trish works better as heel whereas Mickie James plays a great underdog.
# It is expected that WWE will be offering a pay service on WWE.com in the next few weeks. The site will still continue to offer free content like they do now as they gain money through the advertisements on the site. There's still no word yet on what the exclusive content will be though.
# WWE.com has posted videos of what happened on Raw during the commercial breaks. One video shows Mae Young offering Vince McMahon a swig from her flask in the courtroom.

# Most of the ideas behind Marty Wright's bizarre "Boogeyman" character have come from the mind of Shane McMahon. He's done a lot of brainstorming for the character.
# Pictures and a profile on Joey Styles have been added to the Raw Superstar page on WWE.com.
# I have a correction to make. Jeff Hardy wasn't actually backstage at the Smackdown tapings in Columbia, South Carolina last night. He was just hanging out with his friends in the parking lot with a video camera in tow. He also signed autographs for fans. He briefly saw his brother Matt after the show.
# The Associated Press story on WWE's new drug policy has been all over the news nationally today. The story has run on CNN, the Fox News Channel, ABC World News Now, ESPN.com, ABCNews.com, CNNSI and several newspapers across the country.

FROM LORDS OF PAIN
Jim Ross has been in great spirits following his removal from WWE RAW, with sources saying that the announcer has come to peace with the fact that he might never again broadcast a wrestling event.
"He knows he went out on top, he knows that he is respected by fans and wrestlers, and he knows that nobody believes he deserved to lose that spot," one source said. "He's also financially set."
In fact, he has been so positive that he actually had a pleasant telephone conversation with Jonathan Coachman. Ross' immediate replacement in the play-by-play position called the Oklahoman for help upon taking over the role, and "Good ol' JR" was quick to provide necessary help and encouragement.
There is some speculation that Jim Ross might be in line to replace Paul Heyman in Ohio Valley Wrestling, should the former ECW head honcho not re-sign with WWE.

LMAO "JR went out on top."
Right. Cuz getting kicked in the nuts by Linda was going out on top...
And Panthers... man... first lesbian cheerleaders, and now they lose a spokesperson.
If they showed JR's post-Raw promo then he would've looked more like he "went out on top". And I still don't understand why they didn't.=/

# Vince has filed a lawsuit agaisnt george lucas for darth maul resembling the boogey man to much, then vince took his alzhiemers medicine and promptly asked to have the case/charges dropped.
# WWE creative team is looking for a new writer, one of the requirments is rather peculiar, as it states you must "lack common sense and have a DEEP ability to insult the intelligence of readers/viewers of your writing by saying/doing one thing only to do the exact opposite 3 months to 3 minutes later with no explantion at all"
# WWE.Com's pictures have been taken down from WWE.com.
# When asked about the infamous "Glass Ceiling" Triple H said the following
