There are rumors within TNA that Sting has signed a new deal with the company. Whether this is an indication that he will be at Turning Point or not is not yet known but that is the talk backstage.
There had been issues getting in contact with Sting over the last several months but apparently a deal was worked out over the weekend and finalized late Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Now, I don't necessarily believe anything coming from wrestlinginc, except for news they steal from other sites, but if the bit about Sting is true, then damn. Turning Point might be a markout night for me. I'm a huge Kanyon and Sting mark, to have them both in one night...

I hope he stays. I'm a huge Kanyon mark.
Kanyon vs. Christian would make me buy a PPV no matter what the rest of the card.
I probably still won't get Turning Point though.

It's confirmed that Sting has signed a year-deal with TNA. This should be interesting. Hell, the main event scene is looking better. Then again, to TNA the main event scene means total nonstop jobbing to Jarrett.

now, I might buy the ppv. the answer to the question of why wwe killed kanyon is because they hate everyone from wcw with the exceptions of ric flair and booker t. Hell, why isn't Benoit in the title picture? isn't that why he left wcw?
wwe sucks and I hardly watch it anymore. I watch tna every saturday night. I was so disgusted with hhh and stephanie's forced tears and scripted speaches to Eddy G. it made me sick. most people will say "you will watch next week though". no, I won't. Sting IS THE MAN!
they don't hate Booker T?!

--First, Bound For Glory did about 35,000 buys, which is what they were doing on the early days of FSN.
--Genesis appears to have done far less, something in the range of 15,000-20,000. Dave attributes it to the 3 week turnaround and week card.
--It is expected that TNA will be moved to Thursday nights within 6 months.
--He said the mentality within TNA is that while the Orlando fans are sick of Jarrett, the new national fans that have been watching only for 2 months probably aren't sick of him yet.

Ironically, I'm much more excited, and more likely to watch for Kanyon than for Sting. Not a huge Sting fan. Never was.

I liked Sting, but Sting over half a decade later in TNA?
I'm about as interested as Sadistic is in a 10 minute Cena promo.
