The one thing that really bugs me about Hogan

I can forgive and forget pretty much everything else back handed Hogan has done, but the one thing that just drives me nuts, it how he exagrated Andre the Gaint. First, he always talks about how he lifted Andre's 500 lbs about his head. No, all Hogan did was a scoop/body slam, and Warrior did it too, and I'm sure a few other guys did it as well.

Then he talks about how after he beat Andre, Andre died like a few days later. If by a few days later, he means years. Hell, Wrestlemainia 3 wasn't even Andre's last match.

Anyhow, I just bring this up because Hogan was on MTV cribs just now, and said all the crap again. And that bugs the hell out of me. I don't care if hogan kept a bunch of new talent down. I don't care if Hogan never wrestled a 5 star match. Everything else I don't care about, and kinda in a wierd way respected him for being a dick, but that Andre stuff isn't really cool.

I have never heard him say that, and I have been watching Hogan since Wrestlemania, anyway, Hogan is still living off a career he made for himslef by bodyslaming Andre, what do you want him to say, I scoop slamed the Giant, that's just a stupid arguement.

Well, when you slam someone their legs are usually way over your head so part of andre was up over his head. :shifty:

Yeah that episode of cribs was on in the uk a few weeks back, i think the line was something like

"these are my favorite boots, as there the ones i wrestled andre in and he died a few days later"

My favourite story came from his book (sorry for calling it names already) though. He wrote a thing in his back saying he saw some handicap kid or something at Wembley Stadium at Summerslam 1992 and gave him tickets and shit. He didn't even work the show nor was he even in the country at the time.
