Apologies if anyone has a problem with me posting this here, it's just that nobody goes in Q&A. I was just wondering if any of you guys knew what the song was that they played on Eddie's RAW tribute show at the beginning. I'm not talking about the "Here without you" by "3 Doors Down" song, this is a different one. They played it at the top of the show when all the Superstars were standing in the entrance way. It begins with: "I hurt myself today..."
Cheers.

Yeah because most old people prefer NIN to Johnny Cash.

huh? NIN version isnt that old, J.Cash ver. is about, what, 2 years old? It was on his last album. Are you assuming the song is very old because Johnny Cash was old? SHOOOOOOT. Burn in hades motherfucker.:shifty:

The NIN version was released in 1994.

The Cash version was released like a year before he died.

This isn't an old obscure song, it's a very pop culture song done by two MAJOR performers, off perhaps the most popular NIN album to date (The Downward Spiral's the one that got him the popularity he now enjoys), and then covered by a man who got heavy radioplay even on stations that wouldn't normally play Johnny Cash. Since his death, his version of "Hurt" has been overplayed like crazy.

But yeah, play the "I'm too young to remember" card. I can understand...A lot of 12 year olds post here...:D

When looking for a WWE played song, it's safe to assume it's 1. Pop culture, 2. Easy to find, and 3. Well known.
