Finally something beside that shitty teaser!
I read the book a good while ago, before the whole craze, but from what I remember, it seems really faithful to the book. All the settings look exactly like how I pictured them when reading the book, and it seems like they really captured the atmosphere well.

Looks good. I got the book about a year ago and still haven't read it. Should do that. I have read Angels & Demons though. I'm still having trouble picturing Tom Hanks as Langdon. He just isn't what I imagined him to be...ah well, we'll see.

Gonna have to read the book now, cause this shit looks interesting. Before, I didn't give a shit about it.. everyone was like "GREAT BOOK!" and I just told them to fuck off.
So what is this all about, because I have no idea. Something having to do with the bible or Jesus or some shit?

I'm not going to try and give too much away, but it is basically about some religious theories that have characters in the book trying to either get their hands on them to prove them, or to destroy them.
I can't really do it justice, though. I read the book, and I was fucking amazed. Give the book a go.

It's motivated by the characters and such, not the religious beliefs, so don't discount it if religion isn't your thing.

The book is pretty absorbing, I read it knowing nothing of the plot or the hype. I like that sort of thing anyway. Didn't really know if there was enough there for a film, the characterisation throughout the book is very poor and the most interesting stuff is the prolonged bouts of historical/symbolic/theologic discussion that surely can't make it into what will probably be an action film.
Also, it's kind of disappointing when you look yourself and realise that the author is not really telling the truth when he assures you most of his historical and art details are factual.
It's an extremely good idea contrived into an action story.
Audrey Tatou is delightful.

I hope they don't fuck it up. Silas looks sick.
