Dave Youell & Tornado Present: TPWW Tipsters League 2006 - The Sign Up Thread

Note : PLEASE, please read this entire post BEFORE you join up.

Deadline for entrants is New Years Day.



Right-o, with myself winning the 2005 League, I suppose I had better get on and defend my hard won title.

Entry Criteria:
500 Post Count Minimum
Member for at least 6 Months
Please, do NOT join the league if you feel you will not be able to complete the year.

Me and Dave are hoping we can try to keep things a bit more consistant this year, so I propose matches be structured like this:

Triple H vs Everyone
Winner: Triple H (10)
How: Pinfall (5)
Deciding Move: Pedigree (5)

Thats a total of 20 points per match, and the deciding move catagory will hopefully add more of a "wildcard" element this year, with potentially higher scoring PPV's.
Royal Rumble will of course be the highest scoring PPV of the league once again, with 50 possible points coming from the Rumble itself (10 for the winner, 30 for the last four if you get them all right, 10 for a random pick)

This means Tornado and Myself are scoring (and it take over an hour sometimes) for guys who are only prediciting half the PPV's. Which to be honest is a real pain in the ass.

This is the way Paranoid Rattlesnake first set up this thing in 2001 and it's been that way ever since. By doing the Tipsters this year i've seen loads of people drop out and it's frustrating as hell. I'm not a Nazi I don't have an ego about it, if I did I'd just drop you for calling me out on this, but i'm not. The only thing i'm doing is going by the rules that this things has always been set up.


Seriously, give me a fucking break. The rules are a fucking joke. If the guy wants to play he should be able to play. If he misses a week then you write a 0 for his name. Its pretty simple. Rules of the past need not apply. The guys that dont qualify obviously wanna play and if they are serious about it then they will be serious about it. They wouldnt wanna play if they werent serious about it. Whats the worst that can happen. They come in, try to screw with shit and get banned out of the forum. If they dont play, then they get 0's for there score. Its not like this shit is every week. Its once a month. Its not that hard. They should be able to play. I dont know them, i dont have an opinion on there status with the " Wrestling forum gods " I dont really care. Shit should be equal oppurtunity . They wanna play . They should play reguardless of there opinions or there posting quality. We aint judging them on there posting quality. We're judging them on how they pick wrestling matches dude.
