I'm ONLY getting the PS3 as it stands now. Once the 360 goes down to today's $150 prices I may consider, and you can forget about the Revolution. Nintendo lost a loyal customer for just ANNOUNCING that abomination...

Revolution. Been loyal to Nintendo since I was six years old. When I first saw the N64, I thought "God, that controller is ridiculous! How on earth can you get used to that?" and it turned out to be incredibly intuitive. When GameCube came out, I thought "Jesus, mini-discs?" then was treated to some phenomenal games. Revolution looks weird, yeah, but I've learned not to doubt Nintendo on these things.

Then, somewhere down the line, a PS3 if for no other reason than the SmackDown series.

And if I win the lottery and have already bought all the other stuff I want, a 360. Just for Perfect Dark Zero.

PS3- I can't live without my Final Fantasy & SmackDown. Katamri, Dragon Quest, and others are key to my heart.

XBox360- M'eh, awesome graphics, but I'm a little... I've never been a huge fan of the X-Box

What's so special? Barely improved at all.

X Box has actually improved very little, every new generation of Playstation is a MAJOR improvement, PS2 was a major improvement on PS1, and PS3 looks to be a major improvement on PS2.

Its still early days. Considering the Xbox 360 has taken quite a leap in hardware from the Xbox then I honestly don't know why you are saying its not a major change.

Its not as if the Xbox 360 was suddenly going to herald in a new age of gaming from the day it arrived. Even the PS2 had a slow start. In the first year I thought that was barely an improvment considering most of the games sucked anyway.

I think it's pretty much safe to say (at least from the replies on this board) that the PS3/Revolution win this one, while the 360 is left in the dust. No surprise there. Microsoft should've waited to release it. At least it could've been CLOSER to being on par with PS3. As for gaming libraries go, I have no doubts in saying that the Revolution will have far, far better games than the 360, despite the graphical disadvantage of the Revolution. To that, I just have to say that anyone who buys a game for the graphics doesn't constitute as a gamer. You don't buy a game to stare the pretty pictures (that's a bonus). You buy it to have a kickass time with good gameplay.
