Pre-Wrestlemania X Coin-Toss

If I remember rightly, the way they overcame the dual-winner situation at the Royal Rumble was a coin toss. Heads, Luger faced Yoko first, and tails, Bret faced him first.

Couple of questions about it, I'm sure that Luger would have faced Tatanka first at WM had it been tails, am I right?

And second, was it a LEGIT coin toss - because if memory serves, it certainly looked that way.

Lugar was meant to be against Crush, not Tatanka (I think)

Dave's right - If Bret lost, it would be Bret Vs. Owen, if Lex lost, it's be Luger Vs. Crush.

I highly doubt it was legit. For one, they were building to Savage Vs. Crush (which obviously would have been for nothing had Crush wrestled Luger instead). Also, they were building to Bret Vs. Owen at that show. I doubt they would build things up and have it all possibly thrown into disarray by doing a legit coin toss.

Don't know for sure but I would have said it wasn't legit. The plan all along was for Bret to beat Luger for the title to end the show which would have meant Owen Hart working with Bret (and building up the summer feud) and Savage working with Crush. Luger just ruined the part where he would have been champ.

Yeah I was glad they chose Bret/Owen over Luger/Crush. Then after WMX it looked like Luger and Perfect was going to have a big feud but it never happened.
