No but I was very intrested in getting the origonal AC for the Gamecube, then my intrest fizzled out before I got it.
Yeah, but I haven't played it for a while.

I'm just wondering because I got it, like...Yesterday. Never played aprior AC or anything, just looking for a time occupying DS title. :D

I loved the GC Animal Crossing, so if the DS one is half as good, you'll adore it. AC was one of those games that had no real point, but I always wanted to play it every chance I could. I'm curious as to whether the DS version is as addicting.

I imported the US version considering it doesn't hit here for a few more months.
Im loving it so far. Nintendo some how managed to take a suprisingly deep game and add quite a lot of new elements to it for a portable release. Quite frankly I don't see myself getting bored of this any time soon.

Well, consider this.
I spent an hour playing the game yesterday, turned it off, and said "I dont see what the big deal is."
Now I've played it for like 6 more hours. :D

I played the original AC more than I play WoW, to give you an idea.
Don't have AC:WW yet but I'm getting it for Christmas. No wireless adapter yet although I imagine I'd be picking one up within the week.

love the game, every bit as addicting as the original
That's because it basically is the first one.

Yeah, and you can play it multiplayer. Win-win.
Yeah, it's not a bad game by any means. Just pretty much a mobile version of the Gamecube game. Does the multiplayer require a friends code or something to that extent?

For the wi-fi stuff, I'm assuming so. Me and my sister though just hooked up while having both our DS's right next to each other and connecting wirelessly. Just had her open her gate and then I joined her town and I was able to get in fine.
Mad innuendo thurr

Yeah, Nintenod's Wireless is LAME. At least with Mario Kart you could play with random people. With AC, you can apparently only visit or have visitors from people on your friends list...

I'm not dogging the game itself, which is fucking addictive, or even the ability to be online. I just think the limiting it fucking stupid.

It's part of Nintendo's attempt to control online play.
It's why there's no lobby on Mario Kart, and why there's no web browser or online Pictochat. They're fighting a failed attempt to provide people what they want (Online), and still keep in control.
I tells ya, it's the only thing that's really limiting my interest in online. I'd go mosey to other towns, but currently have an empty list.

Yeha that's been my one gripe with Nintendo for a while, their reluctance to get their feet wet with online play. It's nice to finally see it implemented, but they're really falling behind (compared to Sony/Microsoft) in that department.
Once I get my wireless adapter and my friend code ish I'll hook it up

Oh wow, so I jsut found out something terrible. I got my game on Christmas, naturally, and was wondering why there was no Christmas stuff set up (like in the GC one you could talk to the snowman or w/e and get the Christmas set stuff), and apparently they removed Hallowe'en, Thanksgiving, and Christmas from the game because of all those vagsanding cunts who like to be PC about everything. What the gay, thanks for ruining my game crytits

Errr...They removed it for an international audience. Don't blame the PC crowd, blame Nintendo for trying to be all-inclusive. Damn them and their family friendly ways...
CURSE YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU NINTENDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

How is removing Christmas being "international". Seriously everybody around the world unless you're fagtarded celebrates Christmas

If they added Kwanzaa or Hannukah in, I'd be pissed. :foc:

I've had this a couple, maybe few, weeks now, and it's good. I play for at least an hour a day, and it's much better than the GC version. Sable (or is it Mable) in the Able Sister's shop is quite friendly with me now, I've got the biggest Nooks and at least one tree of every fruit.
I'm loving it, and anything I don't want I don't sell anymore, I just give it away to someone online.
