View Full Version : What I really like about TNA right now?

There is more than one guy chasing the title. Christian Cage, Rhyno, Raven, who else? All three have thier own separate storylines, and I'm loving it.
I've noticed that in the WWE only one guy at a time is chasing the title. Orton on Smackdown, Angle on Raw. It's almost boring when only one guy at a time is chasing the title.
TNA is getting better and better. I just hope they ditch the six sided ring. It seems like it gets in the way for executing certain moves more quickly.

There was not supposed to be a question mark in the title.

as opposed to the 100,000 things people don't like about TNA,
yeah. a good main event struggle scene is good.
six sided rings and AJ Styles... er... Don West, is not.

I remember when the WWE used to have multiple viable contenders at any given time, and on any given night, you might see a title defense from someone who looked good enough to deserve to be in the main event scene. They weren't all winners, and some of them should NEVER hold the title (Least not as-is), but they looked believable.
Sadly, those days are gone.
TNA's got a lot going for it, and it's most certainly getting better. Now if they could get the strap on someone fans gave a fuck about...

Yeah, I agree, TNA is doing great with this.
Actually, the 6 sided ring isn't that bad I guess...I'm getting used to it now.
Well I'll say this, when TNA has a wrestling match going on...I pay attention to it and like it. Honestly, whenever WWE has a wrestling match going on...it's a snoozefest normally. Also, TNA has done a better job from the crash fest matches it used to have...not everyone is jumping over the top rope at every minute of every match.
Shelley's new gimmick is pretty cool too...I didn't even know who the hell he was until now.

It's really a reverse style WWE 80's booking. Hogan was the champ and a shit load of heels were viable challengers to his Title. His wrestled Bundy one night and Orndorff the next and both were seen as guys who could take his Title. Just as an example. It's pretty cool, but they're going to have to position ONE guy as the "main" guy sooner or later.

WCW 2000 ratings weren't particularly great, dumbass.

It is pretty much totally reversed, too.

I agree, a lot of guys chasing the title (and believeably winning it) is great stuff. I personally think they should have had Rhino win the title again at Turning Point, just to surprise everyone. That way you can have Rhino vs. Abyss mean more with the title on the line, and Jeff Jarrett & Monty Brown vs. Sting & Christian Cage can be for lined up title shots.
I'm not a huge fan of the "put the title on everyone you can" idea, but you've already put the belt on Rhino once, you may as well do it again to the lend the guy some credibility instead of having it sit of Double J's mantle.

Still though TNA would kill to have those ratings.
