Right away i was like "hey, we gots some talent in this picture, Styles, Chris Daniels, CM Punk, Colt Cabana, Nick Mond....wait, WHAT THE FUCK!?". Did this little feller sneak into the back and run into the picture right before the flash hit?

I hate to ruin the Mondo hating, but I do have to admit, when he wasnt being a hardcore fuckwit he could actually wrestle alright. Not great mind you, but he wasn't actually as bad as everyone says he is.

That does look out of place though. It's like going to Dunkin Donuts....coffee....bagel.....donut....hot chocolate.....BBQ sauce......cookie....iced coffee.....

I can understand why Mondo might be on there. Whether we like him or not (and whether he can actually be classified as a wrestler or not) he's still got an enormous fan-base.

I might even be bold enough to say that the size of his fanbase might even rival that of other individual in that photograph, such as Daniels and CM Punk. Further more, Mondo's fans go fucking nuts about the guy. I mean seriously nuts, like worship the guy.

So, yes, Mondo might have every right to be on a photo of some of the biggest indy names in wrestling... even if he's not a wrestler in mine, or a lot of people's, book.

I can accept that he has a fan base. I can accept that people actually want to see him. But to say that he has a fan base anywhere in the ball park of guys like Punk and especially Daniels is just something that I will never believe.

Note that when you say "fan base", I assume you mean that fans actually go out of their way to see them wrestle.

Back to the point, I think that Mondo has a significant fanbase with plenty of hardcore fans. For example, Sadistic would defend Mondo with his life while most Punk or Styles fans would be less veherment. Just because the average age of his fanbase is 12 - 16 years old doesn't mean he doesn't have one.

Yeah, but the difference between Mondo and Styles or Daniels is that they are two of the biggest stars in TNA. Can Mondo say that he has been featured on countless TV shows and PPVs?

Like I said, he has a fan base, but it isn't HUGE. You blew it way out of proportion.

How do you know its not huge. Firstly, you'd have all the CZW crazy bastards...
then all the part-time wrestling fans who just watch for the violence...
and then you'd have all the kids who just like gore.

He's certainly got every right to be on a picture of indy stars. For example, other than Punk, Daniels, Styles and Cobana can you name any other of thw wrestlers there?

Still, though, how can you say someone who has never been on a Televised promotion (except maybe once or twice) has a bigger (or close to the size of a) fan base than someone in the main event in the same said promotion?

Not meaning to be pedantic but Mondo has appeared a number of times on CZW's television show Fake-You tv. It's shown in the UK on the wrestling channel very frequently.

I think I'll just summarise my argument like (bearing in mind that the size of the fanbase is directly related to that wrestler's right to be in the photo)

Daniels' fanbase > CM Punk's > Colt Cobana's > Nick Mondo's > every other person in that photo's fanbase.

Yeah, people need to lay off Mondo. It was, like, funny when Sadistic would spazz out like a five year old we'd just told that Santa was fake, but seriously. It's old, it's tired, and Mondo's not as bad as people claims.
