View Full Version : So, who else is enjoying the roll that Kane is on right now?

I'm loving Kane and the Big Show as Tag Team champions on RAW, and Kane's singles career is on the up after taking just 26 seconds to win the handicap match on Monday. I'm kinda hoping he wins the Elimination Chamber match at New Year's Revolution to be honest.

Although it seems as if HBK will win it and be screwed out of the title at WrestleMania, which I think is in Montréal (correct me if I'm wrong), given the conversation between Vince and HBK on RAW.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen, though, as I'd love to see Kane as WWE champion...

What do you guys think?

Fucking hell my brain hurts.....here we go!

Although it seems as if HBK will win it and be screwed out of the title at WrestleMania

Why? The guy has zero build up to the title, if anyone apart from Cena is walking away with a title it's Angle

which I think is in Montréal (correct me if I'm wrong), given the conversation between Vince and HBK on RAW.

Nope, Chicago.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen, though, as I'd love to see Kane as WWE champion...

I'm not too fussed on Kane really, he's a credit to thr writers really as he's managed to stay over for almost 10 years now. That's tough in today's market and fair play to him. Him as a champ though? He needs to be pushed long and hard for me to buy into it

Kane will never be the Champ again. He's really not that good. Yes I'm enjoying him with the Big Show, but he really has nothing left as a "main eventer."

They've been advertising since LAST WM that this one would be in Chicago.

But I can see how you might be confused by the technicalities there.

Kane has a annual push to make him credible, then he gets buried again. They just did his 2006 push early this year.

And Kane's push is kind of just to get ready to pimp his movie (Dollar bin before it even leaves theaters), after which, he will job to Juvi in an inter-"brand" evening gown match.

I am probably the biggest Kane mark around, so seeing him get a solid push is great for me.

I would love to see Kane win the WWE Championship again, and all these little signs point to me thinking it could be possible (his recent wins over Rey Mysterio, Triple H, the WWE testing out the double-champion idea on Batista, Kane's new movie coming out, Batista vs. Kane rumours, etc.) but I'm not going to be naive (well try not to be).

Kane will likely not be walking out of New Year's Revolution WWE Champion. Hell, I'm going to go as far as saying Cena is almost a lock. The WWE remains high on the guy, and a WrestleMania without a predictable main event? Not going to happen. Triple H will beat Show at NYR, possible with accidental help from Kane, everyone hits their finishers on Kane in the Chamber when it becomes apparent individually they can't stop him, and Kane feuds with Big Show heading into WrestleMania. Hopefully Kane gets the win against Big Show at Mania, though.

This year I'm going to try and do the Tipsters League predictions to who I actually think the WWE will put over to who I would if I was in the WWE's drivers seat (which is what you're supposed to do anyway, but I'm an ass). John Cena will be my pick for the Elimination Chamber, Triple H will be my pick for Triple H/Show, Mickie James will be my pick for the Women's Championship match and Edge will be my pick for the Intercontinental Championship match. I'm not going to go with anything too fancy, or too unrealistic. Kane winning a big match falls under that category.

YOu know something though...I am enjoying this push Kane's on. But like other people say, I don't see him as champ....yet.

He might get the strap again, you never know. WWE has been suprising me every so often when the planets align, the moon is actually made of cheese and Rhinnon actually remembers to get the money from her John.

I say they put Show and Kane massively over. Have Kane win the title with some help from Show (dunno how, some way though), have Show beat HHH, HHH beat Flair for the IC title, then Show v. HHH 2, have Show win the IC title. Let those two hold all the gold and seem unstopable, like Godzilla and King Kong pairing up. Get a slow fued going on between them two, then end it all with a winner take all, hell in a cell!!! Okay, dumb idea, but i just think it'd be cool to have 2 guys own all the gold (womens title dont count, but hell...put it on 'em anyway!)

But...why? And my question is, he's just as effective in his current position as he is higher up, so trying to push him up the card doesn't really do anything.

Now I know this int going to happen, but here's an idea that I personally like.

At New Years Revolution have Big Show go over }{}{}{, and have Kane come out of the Elimination Chamber WWE champion. (I also like this as the thought of /kane using the spinner with one of his evil grins would be priceless IMO)

Now with this happening you can Have HHH start getting in Big Shows ear about how Kane is champion, and begins to bring in tention between the tag team champs.

Now this could either lead up to a blow off match during Raw (which with the WWE, this is what would happen) or the Royal Rumble.

Now from Kane winning the title we have four options

1) A blow off match at RR leading to the winner losing his title the next RAW to HHH or Cena.

2) A blow off match at RR, but having the loser come out in the Rumble and win it. Leading to a match at WM

3) Have Edge come out after a match at RR, using the MitB to challenge for the title, and win it.

4) Have the loser win the Rumble but challenge for the Smackdown title.

*shrug*

Pfft, fine. By any chance anyone else plans on reading the book, spoilers below, highlight to read.

<font color=black>Kane was always able to speak, albeit he did have damaged vocal cords. This would be a life long problem. Before he debuted Paul Bearer would basicly hire people to try to fight Kane so he could make sure Kane was at his best.
One day Paul hired a very big, tough, mean motherfucker. His name was Snitsky. Kane still beat the hell out of him, but Snitsky got a few throat shots which damaged Kane's vocal cords. That explains the voice box, and why he no longer needs it. It healed.

Oh, by the way, his real name isn't Kane  It's Glenn Jacob Calloway. Kane is his mother's maiden name. He took on that name because of the Kane family curse, which you'll have to read about.</font color>

And it was his fault.

I wouldn't mind seeing that, in all honesty. Here's what I think is what is realistically going to happen, though (if Kane winning the title is realistic).

-Triple H defeats Big Show at New Year's Revolution, maybe with help from Ken Doane to start a new Evolution-like stable.

-Kane vs. Triple H is pretty much confirmed for the Royal Rumble, and Big Show wants his shot at the Rumble, and Kane says after he's done with Triple H.

-At the Royal Rumble, Kane has outdone Triple H, Ken Doane and whatever Spirit Squad members are coming up, and is about to retain the title when Big Show comes in and hits a Chokeslam on Kane, allowing Triple H to pin for three to become six-time WWE Champion and 11-time World Champion.

Kane is pissed off, and takes out Big Show in the Royal Rumble, which Cena goes on to win. This way you have your Triple H vs. John Cena main event, and Kane has had his run and now has a program with Big Show heading into Mania (which Kane wins). Kane can then challenge John Cena for the title in a multi-man rematch also involving Triple H and maybe Edge.
