Recently, Samoa Joe asked for a raise in TNA. Currently, Joe (despite being a top performer in TNA) is making the same amount as he was when he debuted: between 500 and 700 dollars. He agreed to this with the possibility that if he proves himself, he would get a raise. Obviously, Samoa Joe has proved himself as he is the current X champ and Samoa Joe followed this win up with the question of a raise to 1250 dollars to which he was denied.

It should be noted that Samoa Joe is apparently the one who invited Brian Gerwetz to the ROH show as a message to TNA to show that he is serious about this raise and not happy that he was denied as he is a valuable asset at this time and TNA has put a lot of time, effort, and money into him and Joe is still being paid less than Jeff Hardy who no-showed PPVs.

Also, Johnny Ace is supposedly very high on Samoa Joe and interested in bringing him in. He even said Joe could be the "the top level heel Rikishi could never pull off."

No one has heard from Joe on this subject yet, but the fact that he would invite a major writer for WWE says something.

Why is it that news like this never has any facts, or quotes, and sound like its written by a retard?

So Joe hasn't said anything, and he "apparently" invited Gerwitz, and Johnny Ace is "supposedly high" (although that is probably closest to real life in the whole article)...do they get paid to write this stuff or is it just for fun? Because if they get paid, I might start writing some random stuff.

Did anyone tell that to Christian before he quit?

But seriously, he's bulky, so he has the "look."

I read an interview with Joe a month back in 'Powerslam' magazine.
He seemed to be pretty pissed at the WWE, for example the comments made about TNA by Batista and the way the WWE were treating CM Punk.
I think the treatment of CM Punk has put Joe off the WWE.

Well this news says otherwise Danny. Elaborate on the 'poor' treatment Punk has recieved?

Well in the interview they were discussing the comments made by certain people in the WWE that Punk couldn't work, that Punk was told he needed more training, hence being sent to OVW.
Joe was arguing that Punk was the best guy he had worked with in the ring and that the WWE had got it all wrong and that certain people knew nothing about wrestling if they thought Punk couldn't work.
It just seemed to me from the interview that he wasn't a big fan of the WWE and that he felt like it could be a bad step for his career if he signed for them.

Punk is mediocre at best. I have no idea what the huge deal about him is.

If Joe is in the WWE he would get buried.

Has the WWE ever looked after any talent that they didn't grow themselves in some way? Or at least develop.

Joe has made a name for himself outside of the WWE, they would probably want to change his gimmick completly, re-hire captin lou and before you know it he's in the headshrinkers 2000

I don't know, I get the feeling that Joe would do alright in the WWE. He has a look, a presence and despite what TNA may suggest he is actually a submission machine. But he would have to drop the brainbuster finisher. (can't remember what it's called)

The Muscle Buster

And if Kash can use a brainbuster then dammit, Joe can use the Muscle Buster

I really don't want to see this guy in WWE, they need to work in what they have first.
