Don't even have to watch it to know that CZW has had entire matches without one drop of blood or one single forign object...doesn't mean that they arn't just the world's largest backyard fed. Having spent many wasted hours watching tape after tape of CZW in search of something nice to say about it the best compliment I can give it is, "When Petey Williams was a nobody, he wrestled there." That's it. Nothing else can be said. Now some people here want to jump on the idea that CZW isn't shit because *gasp* there isn't any "hardcore" tools used in a match. Well if that is the case then indeed you were judging something you knew very little about since most of CZW's matches arn't hardcore. HOWEVER, CZW continues to be and will in all likelyhood remain shit for one simple fact...they can not produce an interesting story, one single match with even a shred of technical grace, and they continue to reach new lows in their exploration into a world devoid of any ring psychology what so ever.
I could show you a good hundred non-bloody, non-hardcore matches...however not a man on earth could show a good match.
I bet it's a spotfest.
The biggest thing that completely turns me off from CZW is the fact that they pride themselves on their deathmatches. They push them hard. Of course they have non-hardcore matches, but the bulk (90%?) of non-deathmatches in CZW are spotfests.

Well no shit though, we already knew that. However, looking at these "highlights" They're primarily shitty spots and poorly executed moves. Just like in a deathmatch, they use props and "extreme" wrestling as a substitute for actual skill or talent.
Lightbulbs and scissors aren't the only problems with CZW, they're just the biggest affront to WRESTLING fans.

Those highlights were crap. Everything was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too planned. Which made it look stupid. I know you need to plan big spots, but they lose their effect when you can easily tell when someone is helping their oponent out in a move.
I don't think the highlights suck because it's CZW, I think the highlights suck because I think they suck. There were a couple of good spots, I'll give them that. But any ladder match will have those.
Christian ladder matches > every other ladder match (With the exception of Razor vs HBK)

I was just thinking how much a sentence like that would make a wrestling layperson laugh. Isn't that the whole point of wrestling?

Yeah, but if you suspend disbelief, there's only so far you can really be asked to stretch it. Think rubber band.
