View Full Version : The C4

Second match, 4:42 mark, Burchill hits the C4. Really impressive for a guy of his size. I hope he can keep it as his finisher.

Holy shit thats Xavier, the man who got owned by Joe for the ROH title.
Xavier. Never thought much of him.
He didn't even use it as the finish...oh well.

seems like the WWE has loosened the strings on the wrestlers in term of letting them do more moves as of late

LOL, only in WWE would someone use a big move like the C4...and then use a flying knee for the finish.

Its the moves you use, its how you use them.

The C4 reminds me of the canadian destroyer in the fact that it looks completey comical and unrealistic.

I liked it. Much better than a typical one. It was more like he drove it in sideways then straight down.
My main problem with the C4 is that since the person taking it is flipping forward, most of the impact, in theory, would be on the lowerback/ass, not the upper back.
Now Naomichi does a top rope version however which looks sweet as hell.

That C4 didn't look as impressive as it could have, because you can tell Burchill was trying to land it safely so he could do it again (that's my assumption anyway). He was too far seperated from the point of impact to make it look as awesome as it can look. I hope he does it again. I love the Flying Knee of Torture, too. :y:

Only when they're wrestling on something that'll never be seen.
Velocity and House Shows. That's when they get to use cool moves. SD or RAW? Nahhhhhh.

Nah, he had a squash against some guy on Velocity the week before, and he beat Funaki on the Heat before Armageddon.

I don't get why people think the move is so unrealistic. I mean, sure...it looks cartoony occasionally, but if they made a few adjustments to it, I can see it being really devastating. Sort of like an exploder with more weight dumped into it.
