The original Hardcore Title was made for Foley by Vince, wasn't it?

What was it from anyway?

Vince made the Hardcore Title for Mankind. It was made from the broken pieces of the old World Title.

Would the WCW championship with "nWo" on it count?

When The Rock was champ there was supposed to be a Brahma Bull belt but it was never worn on TV . (although I have seen it in ads)

I think that was just made for toys. They made an Undertaker custom toy belt as well.

Wasn't the Big Gold Belt commissioned by Ric Flair?

Vince made the Hardcore Title for Mankind. It was made from the broken pieces of the old World Title.

Who originally BROKE the then-WWF World Title? :?: and what storyline purpose was the reason?

I think Vince just took a hammer to it after Bret left.

Nah Austin ran over it in his monster truck, so they had to replace it with the "Attitude" title.

Xero

Seriously? (I can't tell if you're joking...)

At WrestleMania 14, Austin won the eagle belt from Michaels. The next night (I think) Vince awarded him the Attitude title and Austin gave him the eagle title.

:o

Yeah, Vince just made a speech about how a new era was there and a new title was needed or some shit and gave the Attitude title to Austin.

The old belt was never broken on TV. Pieces of the old one were just glued together for Mankind as the new Hardcore championship, that's all.

Xero

It was more or less duct-taped together (probably glued too). I think pieces actually fell off later in it's life span.

Also, it was obviously a replica, not the original title.

Not really a custom made title, but Hogan was the only one to have the WWF Championship belt that wad designed after the big gold circle and before the Winged Eagle...

I believe the title that they glued back together for the Hardcore belt was one that "Mr. Perfect" Curt Hennig smashed because Hogan wouldn't give him a title shot.

Nick Mondo made his own belt...Mostly because CZW doesn't pay for props.

Construction paper doesn't count as a belt.

Kane Knight

Shane Douglas declared himself the first ECW World Champion after throwing down the NWA belt, so you could say he made his own belt there.

I remember Flair combined the WCW and WWF Title into the Undisputed Title and this was around the time Triple H was champ in the spring of 2002

On a side note, who else feels the eagle belt ruled all other belts? I loved it

Flair sorta created the "Real World Heavyweight Championship" when WCW threatened to sue over Flair using the Big Gold Belt on TV, so they distorted a tag belt on air.

Norman Smiley had a backyard title he won w/ help from Ralphus after interrupting some kids who were doing backyard wrestling and he pinned one of them. He wore it on TV at least once, I remember.

Does a sledge hammer count as "industrial help"?

If not, grab me a rock.

the wwe world heavyweight title kurt angle's title is actually the wcw title

The One
01-12-2006, 03:46 PM
No it isn't. The World Heavyweight Championship (while it does share remarkable resemblence to the WCW, and infact the Vince McMahon named World Heavyweight Title after Survivor Series 2001) it is NOT the same title, NOR does it share it's history.
