**SPOILERS** WWE SmackDown! Taping Results

Thanks to Emerson Witner of WrestlingObserver.com for these:

Live, from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

Dark Match:

Sylvan pinned Tommy Suede after a TKO

Velocity:

The Dicks beat Fred Sampson & Scotty Charisma

Lashley pinned Supreme Lee Great

Mexicools beat FBI

Jamie Noble forced Scotty 2 Hotty to submit

SmackDown!

JBL pinned Matt Hardy in a Falls Count Anywhere match. This match started 6 rows in front of me, and ended on JBL's limo. After the match, The Boogeyman came out and grabbed Jillian Hall, before taking a handful of worms and shoving them down her panties

Mark Henry beat 3 jobbers in an elimination match. After the match Michael Cole interviewed Melina. I have no idea what she said because everyone was chanting slut at her.

In the back Randy Orton blamed Sharmell for the loss in Match 5.

Mr. Kennedy came out and announced that he will change the way SmackDown is announced. He then joined Cole & Tazz for the next match.

Kid Kash pinned Juventud with the Dead Level

Orlando Jordan once again petitoned Booker T to let him wrestle in the Best of 7 series. Sharmell and Booker ran him down. Orlando said he would remember that.

In Match 6 of the Best of 7 series, Chris Benoit defeated Randy Orton by DQ. Right after the bell sounded to start the match, Sharmell tripped Benoit with a crutch. Orton told the ref, and had Sharmell thrown out, while Booker remained for comentary. Later in the match, Orton was about to nail an RKO, when out of the crowd comes Orlando Jordan, who beat up Booker, and then nailed Benoit with a crutch, DQing Orton.

Si! mon Dean came out and said he's ready for some competition. He challenged any tag team to a match. Out came London & Kendrick. Dean said the match was not against him, it was against his new team The Gyminizers! Out came The Shane Twins/The Johnsons, who beat the hell out of London & Kendrick. There was never a match.

Lashley does a promo in which he states that he will be in the Royal Rumble.

MNM beat Batista & Mysterio in a Cage Match. After about 10 minutes of back and forth action, Mark Henry comes down. After what seems like another 10 minutes Henry pulls off the cage door, and enters and attacks Batista and Mysterio. Mercury then pins Mysterio to win the match.

No clue if there was a dark match, because I left after the Cage match.

A lot of :wtf: type stuff. The Gyminizers? Is this the best name they could come up with?

The return of Mr. Kennedy alone though, makes this worth watching. I'm also curious to see how Lashley's promo goes.

And Jesus, could they possibly bury Matt Hardy more?

Yes. If you think about it, he's not being "buried" persay. He's feuding with JBL, who last year was the longest running WWE champ in 10 years. Plus, he's been holding his own pretty well, even though he's been losing. If he was jobbing to Simon Dean and Orlando Jordan, I'd agree. He's fighting one of the "best" on Smackdown though, so ya know.

I'm sure they could if they tried. He could be jobbing on Velocity instead of SmackDown.

This "feud" is based on one promo 3 days before Armageddon. There's been nothing about it (in terms of promos or backstage vignettes) the last few weeks, they just have a match, and JBL kicks his ass. He was squashed at Armageddon, won weakly (via count out) the next week, and again loses this week. WWE doesn't really seem to be interested in a real JBL/Hardy feud, they've just been using the last couple of weeks to set up JBL/Boogeyman ( :wtf: at that, by the way).

Look, dude. YOU said "Could they possibly bury Matt Hardy more", to which the answer is yes. We weren't argueing that the Hardy - JBL fued is huge, or is anything really. (In truth Hardy isnt being buried, and is holding his own) We are argueing that HARDY COULD BE BURIED MORE.

Make sense Mr. Blitz

Yep, I'm gonna watch The Boogeyman segment and then do something else.

Not too sure if I'm interested in this week's SmackDown!.

Why is Randy Orton facing Chris Benoit again? Granted, they have good matches, but did this really need to be a Best of Seven Series Match? Give Doug Basham, William Regal or Paul Burchill a go. Throw us some variety for a change. I do love the Orlando Jordan face turn, though. If they can get the fans on his side before the Royal Rumble, he could get a good face pop in the match being from Miami and all.

The next thing I dislike is "The Gymini" Twins. RAW is in desperate need of tag teams right now, so instead of having Mike & Todd Shane debut on RAW looking like the only team that could possibly defeat Kane & Big Show, you have them go to SmackDown! where they make Paul London & Brian Kendrick look like bitches. Granted, the WWE isn't too high on wrestling talent, but if you wanted Simon Dean to have a tag team join him, have The Dicks face Paul London & Brian Kendrick and guess what? You might actually get a good match out of it.

It's sad, because there was actully potential in the London/Kendrick duo, that was until they were made to look like bitches to a team that will be punished when they "weigh down" the fantastic wrestling skill of LOD.

I'll wait until SmackDown! until I shit over this idea anymore, but right now I am not liking it. Perhaps if Shenanigans (I'm not too sure why, but I think London & Kendrick have that written on their attire) make a comeback and have some good tag team matches with The Regulators over the next few weeks I fill change my judgment. From what I've heard though, chances of The Shane Twins having a good match is not too good.

It was a rhetorical question, not meant to be answered, but rather meant to emphasize my opinion that Hardy is getting buried. Of course he could be buried more.

WWKD (and you, apparently) think that the JBL feud isn't that bad. I think it is. That's all.

I also think Matt Hardy should have gone over JBL. Not cleanly, but with aid of The Boogeyman.

Mark Henry in a main event program is not exactly a recipe for success, either.

I didn't say it was a good feud. I just said that it's not really hurting Hardy that much. It's like the Carlito, HBK matches from raw. HBK beats Carlito over and over again, but it's not hurting Carlito. Why? Because he's going up against one of the best, so even though he loses, he's standing his own. Plus, I think WWE is milking the idea that Hardy won't quit, which is why he's probably on the defensive more. Show that no matter how bad you beat him, he'll keep coming back.

I dunno, it could be worse.

I can see the point of view that Hardy isn't really being buried, but i can also understand why it has been brought up.Yes JBL may of been WWE champion for a long time on smackdown, but when did they last mention that in this feud?If you say stuff like that even though we know we may already know it,it helps to hype up the feud a bit because it reminds us of who Matt Hardy is going up against, rather than leaving us to think JBL has just gone back to the midcard where he belongs. It feels like his reign as champ has been forgot about by the writers imo.

Nah, I think he'll be champ again. Besides Orton, there aren't that many main event heels. The fact that they are going to have Henry main event explains that. Even if they made Booker a main eventer, which I doubt they will, then there would still be only three realistic contenders.

Actually, I was thinking about this yesterday. With the WWE website having clips of JBL's radio show, along with his little "awards" where he comes off as pretty patriotic, I wouldn't be surprised if they had JBL do a mini face run and fight anti-American Kurt Angle at WM. The build up could be done well, and I think JBL and Angle can put on a good match with each other.

I'm not saying that JBL wont have another title run, i'm just saying that for now it seems like he's gone back to the midcard so the WWE can bury Matt Hardy.

And it's not just the fact that Mark Henry is now main eventing with Batista for the title that explains there are no credible challengers for the title, ask yourself:When did Batista last defend the title?.Was it against JBL a few months ago?The title wasn't even defended at the last ppv.:nono:

Hardy was getting squashed waay before he was fired in the first place. Just because his girlfriend cheated on him doesn't mean WWE feel they owe him a win over the former WWE Champion.
