Ron Simmons Inducted
November 4, 2005
WWE fans probably remember Ron Simmons most for his no-nonsense, hard-hitting, brawling ways inside the squared circle as Farooq. But Simmons’ time on the grid-iron is also well-documented. Simmons was a stand-out defensive tackle at Florida State, and was acknowledged for his accomplishments Tuesday when he was inducted into the The Regions Bank Orange Bowl Hall of Fame.
Simmons was inducted Monday, the day before this year’s FedEx Orange Bowl, at the AvMed Orange Bowl Coaches Luncheon. Simmons’ accolades in sports-entertainment include three reigns as World Tag Team Champion with APA partner Bradshaw. Simmons was also the first-ever World Champion when he defeated Vader for the WCW Championship.

When I first saw the Headline, I thought he was inducted into The Hall Of Fame.:-\
Just because of this he probably will be inducted this year in the WWE HOF, be resigned, and become JBL's manager.

If Ron is inducted before Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat, or even Teddy Long or Eddie Guerrero, then baby Jesus will cry.

No, article, he were not first world champ. He were first black-man world champ. And for that reason I think I'd be okay with him in the HOF.

Good news for Ron Simmons. I would love to see him inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the future. He was the first-ever black World Champion. I don't see how that is a small accomplishment.
Plus he has unfinished business with JBL. I would love to see Faarooq and Boogeyman pull off some skits together. Then you can have Faarooq help Bobby Lashley get a footing. I always wanted to see Lashley adopt Simmons as a manager when he was just starting off and using The Dominator as a finishing move. For some reason, I can see Orlando Jordan getting over in a feud with Simmons.
OJ is looking for respect, so he goes to Simmons for advice, and Ron tells OJ to turn on Bradshaw and stop being his house boy. Jordan says he's not going to do something as stupid as burning his bridges with the guy who signs his second paycheck, Faarooq gets upset that this kid is going in an opposite direction that he went in, and slaps him up a bit. You can then draw similiarities to The Rock in Orlando Jordan, and have Faarooq pretend OJ is a young Rocky Maivia or something.
Worse and stranger things have happened.

Hold on, have you read all the posts in every thread you type in? There are only a hand full of people worth reading. I don't doubt that many people pass over mine like it's no big deal, but come on, some people just suck. Not everyone is worth my time.

Actually, I usually do about 90% of the time, which is why my post count to sign up date ratio rather low.
