I think I would.....I dunno it also gives Edge a chance to use his brief case.
If you asked me yesterday, I would have even marked out if Masters won the title.
But after seeing Cena's face at the NYR press conference, i kinda feel sorry for him

i think i would as its the last thing im expecting from that match at the moment, well apart from carlito or masters winning.
Enough is enough and it's time for a change! (man Owen ruled) But Cena will win.

Im sure that's one of Cena's catchphrases
I don't know if it is but it was Owen's to begin with.

If hell froze over and Masters did win the title. Would he finally get a crowd reaction?

yes, but...
i would. out of all the 6 men in that match up, i would definitely like to see Kane win the title. i am a Kane fan which is more than i can say for the rest of the participants.
but in the back of my mind i would know that Kane's in ring performance has gotten worse, and worse, and worse to the point that he is pretty much a one trick dog - that trick being a chokeslam, and a sloppy one at that. i could only hope that his ability is not entirely reflected in his performance.
unfortunately, sometimes a character gets so watered down and so shit upon that you stop caring about that character as you lose hope while they become less and less entertaining. btw, when was the last time we were treated to a good ol' fashioned Kane promo.
also, i expected Kane to win that contest to get the quickest win with a quick chokeslam victory. however, i am not expecting him to win the title match. i am expecting Cena or Angle to win it. HBK? could happen. but i would be supprised.
If hell froze over and Masters did win the title. Would he finally get a crowd reaction?
Probably not. But the main point I was trying to make was that I DON'T LIKE CENA.

KANE! KANE! KANE! KANE! KANE! KANE'S HERE!
I would definately mark out if Kane won the title. He doesn't need to hold it for a year, but it would be nice to see him hold the belt until at least Rumble time.
I'm pretty sure a babyface needs to win the Elimination Chamber. If a heel wins, that means that either John Cena is going to win the title back at the Royal Rumble *shudder*, or they're going to do several titles swaps heading into WrestleMania, to get the belt on Triple H to defend.
So this theoretically leaves John Cena, Shawn Michaels & Kane as the favourites to win, in my opinion. HBK winning would lack any real impact, but that's just my opinion. The guy's won it before, and he's done the "entering with impossible odds" shtick before, and it could work with someone much better in the future. The EC is still relatively unexplored, so I don't see the urge to have Shawn Michaels "do it all" inside the Chamber.
So if we get rid of Shawn Michaels (which isn't definate, just as a heel winning isn't definate, but via process of logic, which isn't applicable in the WWE, anyway) I see the two best choices to win this match being the fans' top two picks to win (according to WWE.com, mind you), John Cena & Kane.
Kane's been getting one Hell of a push recently, and it wouldn't surprise me to see it continue in the slightest. Cena winning isn't out of the question, but judging by the crowd reactions, a title change after he goes through Hell and back should be on the WWE's mind, at least.
So you see it is possible to reach Kane as a conclusion to win this year's (first) Elimination Chamber, even if he drops the title to Triple H, looking to add the second World Tag Team Champion to his list of victims in 2006.
Short answer: Yes. Yes I would mark out, and would go through any irrational means (applying logic to WWE booking) to try and prove that he has a chance to myself, and to other people.

Yes, because unpredictable moves by management putting over talented and deserving employees when they have been groomed and teased for the roll, and have been accepted as a valid threat to that position by the fans, is wrong...
David Arquette winning the World Title was unpredictable - it doesn't make it a good idea.
Kane shouldn't be the World Champion again, I don't see how he is especially talented or charismatic, and don't see how he deserves it, seeing as how he's a gimmick wrestler that seemingly had a 6 month shelf life and lucked out into staying on as an upper midcard fixture. He should NOT be among the very top guys - he's just as effective elsewhere as he is in a top role. There's no point.
If you haven't stopped during Cena's run, you won't stop, trust me.
Touche, but at least it's been entertaining to see the crowd turn on him.

I think we can both agree that Kane is a little more talented tha David Arquette.
Kane's managed to take rape angles, setting Robo-JR on fire, a feud with Shane McMahon heavily invovling Shane's testicles and much, much more, and turn them into something mildly entertaining. That is of course a matter of opinion, but when people still buy him as a credible threat after losing cleanly to Gene Snitsky, you can't deny there's something there.
Kane is just as suited to a lesser role, as is Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle. None of them is what they used to be, all three are still great, though. Kane is still good. He's been a consistent character that has been booed or cheered accordingly (something Cena cannot lay claim to), and it still has potential to wow some people. People generally get excited when they see a "7'0", "326lbs" man destroying things as if he has no remorse.

For some reason, there are two things I really want to see from Kane in the Elimination Chamber.
1) For Chris Masters to put Kane in The Masterlock, and everyone be like "KANE'S IN THE MASTERLOCK! KANE'S IN THE MASTERLOCK!" then have Kane just start laughing while he's in the hold before powering out and eliminating a shocked Masters with a Chokeslam.
That won't happen because it completely no-sells Masters' finishing move, but it could lead to some interesting storyline ideas for Chris Masters. An angle where he tries to find a new finishing move is at least something mildly entertaining for him to do.
2) Have Kane on the top rope, using an internal chamber to give him a vertical basis, scouting Kurt Angle for a flying clothesline, only for Kurt to run up the turnbuckles looking for his belly-to-belly overhead superplex, only for Kane to grab him by the throat as soon as he gets off, teasing a Chokeslam off the top rope. That would be awesome, even if there is no payoff to the tease.

I am torn because I want to see Cena retin to stick it to all the haters, but I would mark so bad if Kane won as I have always been a fan of his and think he deserves better than a one day run as champion.

I'd say that would ruin the hyper around the Masterlock, but let's face it, they've already dropped the ball there.
