View Full Version : So Much Talent...Going To Waste

:( So much great WWE talent is not being used properly. I think the main problem is on Smackdown!. I think RAW is a land of equal opprotunity. If you ask me, Benoit was being misused on Smackdown. Thank god he is on RAW now. He'd be a great WORLD Heavyweight Champion. Smackdown has so many crappy superstars. Half of the Smackdown roster is crap. The best superstars have to be Angle, Lesnar, Cena, Eddie, and maybe Big Show. They should give stars like Orlando Jordan, Sean O' Haire, and Paul London a chance to have their own storylines. Maybe even Billy Kidman. He lost to freakin Tajiri last week!!! If they give the superstars that wrestle at Velocity a push, they can probably deliver better. They should also break up the F.B.I, but thats my opinion. I think Stamboli and Palumbo can do great things on their own (notice how I didn't mention Nunzio). Where is the World's Greatest Tag Team at? I can sorta tell they are becoming faces becaused of the match they had with the Bashams to enter the Royal Rumble. The crowd cheered loudly when they won, so thats a sign. Alot of heels are becoming faces now, thats a good thing. When you think about it, Smackdown is just going to hell in gasoline pants. Benoit left, Undertaker is probably leaving, and how is this Lesnar/Goldberg fued going to play out, is Lesnar going to lose his belt to Eddie Guerrero and go to RAW, or is Goldberg going to go to Smackdown? Smackdown would really be a piece of crap then!! LOL!! Big Show hasn't defended his title yet, and he's had it since October of 2003! Its like it was a gift to him that he carries around!! Thats another thing that gets me mad. If anyone has noticed, before the years he got injured, Hardcore Holly was a piece of crap, also. He was tag partners with Crash, (R.I.P But Crash didn't have such a good WWE career either). He just comes back and gets a title shot, which he lost (ha ha ha, LO friggin L). RAW has and always will be the better show. Bottom Line.

P.S. If anyone can remember or knows a time where Big Show actually defended the U.S. Title, please respond.

Thats why he should get a push. It will probably make him a bit better, and he doesnt suck as much as Billy Kidman, who had lost to Tajiri last week on Smackdown!.

There's no chance that Brock will job the WWE title to Eddie Guerrero. Most likely Brock will keep the WWE title past Wrestlemania since the plan is for him to defeat Goldberg, who will probably go to Smackdown with RVD in exchange for Benoit and Undertaker.

The problem is they just have too many wrestlers to be able to push them all. There will always be a lot more guys deserving of a push than could possibly get one.

Granted, it is really stupid to be pushing guys like Hardcore Holly and Bradshaw.

I don't watch the show, but I hear Velocity features a lot of younger talent that arn't being pushed on Smackdown.

Lastly, not trying to be a dick or anything, but seperating your ideas into seprate paragraphs makes it a lot easier to read.

Giving someone a push doesn't make them not suck. Sending them to OVW makes them not suck.

On the other hand, he's also boring, so giving him a gimmick would be good for starters, then find some way of pushing him.

There has been talk of putting the title on Eddie, which would lead to Eddie vs Kurt for the WWE title at Mania. Brock v Goldberg would still happen, it just wouldn't be for the title. I dont think they should do that, but I do think Eddie should be the one to beat Brock for the WWE title, only it should happen after Mania, maybe in May.

Agreed. Albert and Mark Henry are getting pushes, and I still believe they stink.

Smackdown has real wrestling, while RAW has Chris Jericho going for it and possibly the Kane/UT angle (definitely that angle if it's being restricted to RAW). That's about it... lately, I think that SD has been developed more and had the better, more concise angles.

I've said before that I think smackdown has the more complete and talented roster, however, Raw just seems to have the better show. Not even because of the storylines themselves but because the way the show is done and put together in a whole. To be completely honest I thought this last Thursday's smackdown was unbelievably boring.

I'm not exactly happy about Benoit going to Raw though. While I do think he will be better used in Raw I can't help but think of the great matches he could and has had with Guerrero, Angle, and even Lesnar. I think if Smackdown could ever get it together and have a good flow during their shows they would beat Raw hands down.

To my recollection, Big Show hasn't defended the US Title since he won it, which was at No Mercy in October? Thats 3 months that that fat sack of crap has held it.
Ah well, at least it looks like Cena will be relieving him of it soon enough.
