This was on the wwe's website.
Expecting Parents Stephanie (McMahon) Levesque and her husband, Paul Levesque (Triple H), are expecting their first child.
First they compleatily ignore thier marriage on tv and on thier own website they publish the real name of thier most well-known wrestler on thier own fucking website.
What next are they going to have credits after raw ends now (eg starring Adam Copeland as Edge, Glen Jacobs as Kane)
(Yeah i know there is another thread about this trips and tits baby but this is about another topic)

Well if they did have credits it would make me laugh.

The WWE website has become a sort of 'real life news' site, usually, if a superstar suffers an injury, they'll work out an angle to write them out, but the website has posted Batista's, Booker's & Kennedy's.
Also, the WWE is suppossed to pretend SD isn't taped on Tuesdays. But they've posted pics of tapings and Melina's statement.
maybe it's their only way to compete with other wrestling sites to be an actual news source and get hits =\

My opinion is that the WWE website is so vast and dynamic that it can cater to both the mark and smark community. Smarks naturally will probe the 'insider' sections of the site where such information is enclosed while the marks head straight for wrestler bios, videos and whatnot.
Even if a mark does come across such 'inside' and anti-kayfabe information then what's the harm? This isn't the 1970s anymore. It's ok for wrestling to be fantasty.

Even the marks know they're actors.
Shut the fuck up.

The "smark"-ish info is actually on the front page. I think WWE wants their fans to be "smart" fans, because even WWE realizes that is the era of the Internet wrestling fan. It's everywhere, man...everywhere... :shifty:

They even dropped Chris Masters' real name on air. Kayfabe has been outdated for quite some time now. I think it's for the better, too. They just look like a bunch of retards when they try and act like it's real. Also, for the "insiders", I think they cut themselves a little slack when storylines come out sort of silly due to injury.

Yeah, I hated seeing that. Out of the blue, wwe.com admits these things, when forever, they stayed in kayfabe. This is bad, especially since the WWE can't seem to differentiate between TV and the internet anymore, so yeah, I could see credits rolling. I'd puke.

They haven't "forever" stayed in Kayfabe. Kayfabe was on it's death bed when the Attitude era was young.

That's why everyone needs to just sign up for iWc now. Even though we're already apart of the internet Wrestling community, you still have to show the colors!

Then maybe they should stop sticking it to the "smart" fan.
The problem is the WWE doesn't know what it wants. IT waffles in and out of KAYFABE.

Am I the only one that has read the Kane book? It says why he's called Kane

You probably ARE the only one. Why is he Kane, though?

Because the letters "K" and "J" are next to each other on the keyboard

I always assumed it was a reference to Cain and Abel.

Ahahaha...I get it.
I always thought it was a reference to The Undertaker's original name.

The reason I don’t like this is that its another example of how wwe its straying away from wrestling and more into “entertainment”.
And about the marks knowing that they actually actors. You wouldn’t believe how many marks think its real.
I think the wwe almost must try to keep a degree of realism in thier product even though everyone knows it fake.
