I was thinking, since there were rumors a while ago about an ECW invasion (but they seem to have dropped), I thought up of a way it could possibly work (or not work).
Since the RAW GM slot is open, I was thinking that Vince could assign Shane to be the new GM. A couple of weeks later, Vince returns saying that Shane has disappointed him thus far (maybe by intervening himself in matches), and then assigns RAW another GM making co-GMs (i know it's been done before) and it turns out to be Heyman. Vince then signs RAW fully into the hands of both Heyman and Shane 50/50.
As time goes on, Heyman talks with RVD backstage, and has a couple of promos about the "old days" of when RVD was extreme.
Heyman then continues these talks, and eventually, RVD will have a scheduled match on RAW against someone, Heyman will then come out and say that this match is ECW rules (and if they could pull it off, bring in Fonzy to manage him).
This goes on for about 2 weeks and Shane has a problem with it, saying that this is WWE not ECW. Then Heyman goes on to say that your father was dumb enough to trust him, and the only thing that ECW was missing was money, and now that he has it, he's going to re-create it. So while Heyman guides RVD to the top, he promises that when RVD wins the WWE Championship, it'll be known as the ECW title.
Well, I know there are some holes, but I just thought of that quickly. Also, if the WWE can sign a couple of other former ECW talent (not like 10..but maybe like 2 or 3 wrestlers for an ECW stable) then they could act as mid-carders, trying to win the IC and Tag Titles and trying to make every title match "hardcore" and be in ECW's corner, thus changing RAW into ECW. Then you could form a WWE squad which can consist of Angle, Cena, Masters, Carlito. In thinking of this storyline, I wanted to avoid the "jumping ship" that happened during the initial invasion, and giving the actual ECW wrestlers recognition.
Thoughts? :y: :)
