Batista is set to have surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Here's wishing Batista a successful operation and speedy recovery!

It's my understanding that Batista was crushed to drop the belt, and I hope after his recovery he will get one last shot at it.

I wish Batista best of luck.

Why do people seem to think that this is practically going to result in the end of Batista's career?

I don't. I'm just wishing him luck.

I hope he's back in action by Judgement Day personally.

Cause he is 38 years old and doesn't have too many good years left in him.

His style means he doesn't have to be young. Also, he's still a pretty new to us so I think he has a good few years in him yet.

Good luck with the op

Why do people seem to think that this is practically going to result in the end of Batista's career?the surgery on the tricep often leaves you prone to more tears, so this could become recurring (actually it already is, since this happened to him back in 2003)

I honestly think Batista will be the guy to dethrone Kurt Angle for the World Heavyweight Championship. Probably at Summerslam.

Batista signed a five year contract with the WWE recently, didn't he? If so, I can't see them letting the guy drop off the face of the planet. Especially considering how over he is.

This could be a blessing in disguise for Batista, he can disappear for a while and come back "bigger" and more over than ever.

Was it on the same tricep as the one he hurt back in '03? I'm just not sure. But best of luck to him, most definitely.
