Do wrestlers still care about winning titles? Like, do the champs still make the most money and whatnot? Is there still prestige in being the man? Discuss.

Not as much as they used to, back in the days where a title was a reward, not a stepping stone.

Some care more than others.
Edge cared because this was his first WWE title and he'd been working his life for it.
Eddie & Benoit cared because they had everything set against them, their size, their weight etc. but they still managed to become World Champions.

I think they care the first time, then after they've done it a couple times it loses it's sentimental value.
Triple H: Hey Vince, we're outta toilet paper, could you give me a title run so I can wipe my ass with the title?
