Channel 4 in the UK are showing this ace show called "Deal or No Deal". That's immense.

The Krypton Factor was the balls as well

Does Legends Of The Hidden Temple count?

Blitz

Legends of the Hidden Temple was awesome

Deal or No deal is kinda retarded if you look at the basis of the game, but once they start showing it here regularly dunno

If Legends of the Hidden temple counts then Guts should also count.

Blitz
01-23-2006, 02:57 PM
Why wouldn't Guts and Hidden Temple count?

Also, I forgot about Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego. I lived for that show.

Was Guts the show where they had the international kids?

I also liked Double Dare. I think that's what it was called. Where they crawled in peanutbutter and jelly and went through ears to collect flags.

The Price is Right= GOLD

Press Your Luck, without a doubt! Basically because anything could happen within a few seconds. Whammy was a good rendition, but GSN has been fucking up with supporting it more. Oh, and PYL was the one game show with that Michael Larson guy who opened up a can on the show by studying the light patterns. Racked up a bit over $120k hitting that $4000 + spin and $5000 + spin all the time. Too bad he botched at keeping it or doing something good with it (he blew it all on real estate).

Yup saw a special about that. It showed how he figured out the patterns and shit. It was quite simple once they explained it.

It's very retarded. People honestly think that they're going to win £250,000 even when they've only got a 50/50 chance between that and £10.

Would you flip a coin over £249,990? Fuck no!

I actually wrote a paper about that for my high school Humanities class.

I think I got an "A."

I never really cared for FIO, but I'll admit I watched it more than once just for Summer.

And I forgot about American Gladiators. That show ruled.

The only game show I watch now is Distraction since it will randomly be on late at night on Comedy Central. Pretty good though.

Cool King
01-29-2006, 11:02 AM
Yeah, Distraction is a pretty good gameshow. Too bad America stole it.:nono:

About 1/4 of shows on American TV is original stuff, the rest is stolen from British TV.

RBM
01-30-2006, 12:17 AM
Nah, the only stuff we steal is gameshows and reality TV. Our dramas and comedies are generally original and our own ideas and recently we've got alot of good ones.
