View Full Version : The best thing going on in wrestling right now ( In my opinion )
Is the angle between Samoa Joe AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels. Its amazing. For those who dont watch TNA alot . If you are getting sick of WWE bullshit fueds and horrible booking. Watch TNA right now because its amazing.
Basically to recap. Samoa Joe turned on Daniels two ppv's ago. He fucked him up real good. Last ppv it was a "throw in the towel " match. Daniels faced Samoa Joe and Joe was wrecking his shit all over the place ( Samoa Joe is something else ). Styles threw the towel in for Daniels because he just couldnt watch Daniels get fucked up like that. Then Styles had a " Towel " match with Shannon Moore. Daniels was his towel person and Daniels threw the towel in without Styles even getting messed up at all. Daniels basically told him " I made the decision for you . Your match is over. How do you like it "
Now coming up at the next Pay Per View ( Against All Odds , which i will be purchasing ) Its a threeway match between Joe, Styles and Daniels. Its gunna be amazing.
Plus Chistian Cage faces Jarrett for the title on the same card.
TNA is red hot and there talent ( Specifically Matt Bently who i love ) are so much better then WWE's right now. They are fast quick and so fluid in the ring. It actually looks like they try.
Watch TNA IMO. Its getting really good.
Rodrick Strong, Austin Aries and Alex Shelly are all great too. Them and Bently are kind of on the same boat. All of them are great tho.

Yeah I really like the 3way storyline going on in the X-divison. Like I'm really interest in and I have no clue who is going to win the match. Plus The TNA crowd is turning on AJ and it kinda makes more interesting. I can't wait for the match.
Its better then anything WWE has going right now. I'm sick of WWE and i'm really getting intrested in TNA . Took me a while , but now i'm watching TNA non stop. Its getting really good.
Rhino and Abyss even have a intresting fued going.

Yeah thats what is making TNA good at the moment as well. Its so easy to predict the winner this days. The only time since wm20 I have been surprised with the winner of the world title matchs was when Edge won the title (the other belts dont count because the wwe treat them like shit)

Hey RP...it wasn't a throw in the towel match. AJ threw in the towel because he couldn't stand watching Daniels getting his ass raped by Joe. And then, on Impact, he did the same to AJ, which didn't count, but still allowed Shannon Moore to get the win.
You heard me...Shannon Moore beat AJ Styles.
As for TNA...I have no friggin' clue where they're going with anything...and I like it.

TNA is awesome right now but it has been for a good while now
i'm just glad people are starting to pick up on it
me personally i order every single TNA ppv and i cant wait for the next one
i hope Christian becomes NWA World Champ
and the 3 way rematch with Daniels Vs AJ Vs Joe will be worth buying the ppv if it is even half of their 1st one

TNA realistically though, only has Styles, Joe, and Daniels (Styles for marks, Joe for people who like overrated people) that are worth paying for. Fact of the matter is Christian has been nothing short of boring since his TNA arrival. And other then the 3 X stars, there isn't one person worth paying a dime to watch. Sorry but it's true.
Now that having been said I have yet to miss a single TNA show...ever (well I missed one once, but then I downloaded it, so I DID see it)...anyway I will simply state that Christopher Fucking Daniels is worth the time out of your Saturday (or Mon.) evening and your $30 a month. :y:

You're a fucking retard. No it wasn't, but your opinion of TNA (you have a shite memory) was one where the company was like ROH/indy style for your own selfish reasons instead of wanting them to succeed in a more mainstream style.
Anyhow, I agree....while TNA has its shite moments...I still like watching Impact. I'm sick of WWE throwing out a super shitty product the last 5 years since WCW died. It's boring, bland, and stale. TNA on the other hand is like a breath of fresh air for me...it's something new, and they have no choice but to think creative (some of their stuff is hardly creative and in fact backward; ill admit that) in order to expand as a company.
TNA is doing a lot of things great right now. This angle is one of them. Samoa Joe is a fucking monster.

I've enjoyed all of Christian's promos and segments. He's pretty much been the same exact person in TNA as he was in WWE. The only difference is he is the main event in TNA.

Innovator: No I'm not.
legend: No, he was funny in WWE, he is not in TNA.
Sadistic: You are a fucking tard. I have seen so far an argument that a total of 8 people are worth watching in TNA...oh yeah that same 8 people who have been liked by about 80% of the people on these boards for years. There are some people here who hate it (the same ones as before) and some who think they need to improve a LOT (the same ones as before, myself being one of them) and then there is you. The fucking retarded 10 year old posing as some type of Smart Mark bashing WWE at every turn and shouting to the heavens the high praises of anything other then what is "main stream". Well with the news that TNA finally passing the 1.0 rating mark (something ECW did on it's debut showing) you must be happy...continue to praise TNA o' faithful twat...but what will happen if TNA someday surpases WWE. Oh never mind you "underground" people always just say "sell out" to anything that more then you and the other kids on the short bus know about. :foc: Now be a good little boy and go play ball in the street.

I really disagree. They also have:
-Abyss
-Rhino
-Petey Williams
-Ron Killings
-Bobby Roode
-Alex Shelley
-Roderick Strong
-Austin Aries
-Sonjay Dutt
-Chris FUCKING Sabin
-Monty Brown
-Jeff Hardy (when he's actually there)
They have a talent pool, and it's slowly beginning to rise.

I like Joe, but I don't think he's the God everyone thinks he is.
I have seen Styles use some great psychology in some matches, the only problem is that he doesn't need to in TNA to get over.
Daniels is the BEST WRESTLER POUND FOR POUND in terms of all around wrestler. The only thing I don't think he has, is the look. To a smark or mark, he's an Angel(pun intended) but to a casual outsider, he's just a skinny bald guy.

No he's right, there are three people who are worth watching TNA for right now. Daniels (who this side of Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle is God's gift to wrestling), Styles (who when he's paired with someone who knows how to lay out a match lives up to his moniker) and Sabin (sorry One, I can't stand Joe, he's ok, but he's not what everyone makes him out to be. I love Sabin though). Everyone else you listed is pretty shit in all honesty. Unless being lead around the ring they just are spot workers.

Am I the only one that finds it ironic that RP so highly praises this angle, yet doesn't seem to have really paid attention to their matches?
I watched the Elimination X match at Genesis
I've seen the match with Joe vs Styles at Turning Point
I did not see the complete match at Final Resolution but have seen highlights and would love to see the complete match.
Anything else you find Ironic Pepsi Man? Becuase i misunderstood what i saw with the "towels" means i'm not a fan of whats going on? How is that ironic?
After Turning Point i did not see TNA i did not watch for a month due to work and poker. I wasnt really following any wrestling period. I watched some old matches from TNA and then caught Impact Monday night and saw the buildup for the threeway match. Saw the towels being thrown in and " assumed " they were towel matches. My mistake. Doesnt make me any less intrested. I just didnt have my facts straight. I am however very intrested in TNA . Hope thats ok with you Pepsi Man.
BTW. I sent Savior a PM, but no reply. I'm looking for matches Daniels and Styles have had in the past so i can watch them. If anyone has them maybe they can pm me or post them. That would rock.
Specifically the match at Against All Odds.

Regardless on anyone's feelings on TNA, one thing surely has to be agreed by everyone which is that they have done bloody well to get this far. And they are still improving all the time, the PPV's now compared to 12 months ago are alot better, the storylines are decent, the talent pool is deeper now, just look at the guys they brought in since they started to run ppv's
Ryhno
Christian
Sting
The Dudleys
Alex Shelly
Roderick Strong
Austin Aries
Samoa Joe
The first 5 are well recognised mainstream names to get the marks in and the last 4 are the underground indy guys who most smarks love.
Not to mention they are getting Japan guys on US PPVs, which can only be considered a good thing
The fact that they take guys and use them to the fullest potential is one of the reasons they are doing so well, because there's no hang ups on weather it's a TNA creation . If any of the TNA guys went to WWe they would get buried to fuck, but TNA booking doesn't seem to have the same level of ego that the WWe writing team have, which can only be considered a good thing.
To be honest the only real negative I can find with TNA is Jarrett whoring the title, but notice how no one in this thread has mentioned that? It's because TNA has a fucking great mid card with great matches and angles, yes Jarrett is the champ, but he's not the only focus of the product and he's not getting rammed down your mouth all the time, he's just there, yes it's annoying, but it's not enought to make me stop watching.
Just imagine what would have if/when Heyman is a free agent :)
So all power to TNA, they are far from perfect, but they've come a long way in a short time

It doesn't matter how good you were in the past in other promotions if nobody's seen them. Most people haven't seen RoH, most people don't follow the Indies. Most people will know Joe has like two submissions, yet somehow is a "Submission machine."

Pretty much. The one thing about TNA that blows is its "main event" division... IMO, the X-Division is what the main attraction should be, since that's what everyone who watches TNA likes about it, it seems.
Tag team division is OK. Team 3D, and the James Gang are basically banking off old success, but AMW, and Team Canada remind me of good ol' tag-team wrestling. They could stand to use a few more faces there, but they're OK for now.
The main priority, The main event division, should really kick Jarrett out, and keep the "old guard" appearances to a minimum. Christian, Raven, and Rhyno are the only ones who are known from other feds that are interesting enough to headline the promotion. But they still need to book smarter for them to be "bought". Guys like Monty Brown, AJ Styles (if they take him out of X), even freakin' Apyss...and some of the other TNA "originals" should be the only ones competing there... no Jarrett, no Kevin Nash, and if he's gonna "Hogan" his run, we don't need to see Sting nor DDP rehash WCW feuds.
