In an interview done on XMV....which airs on NoDQ.com....
Sandman was asked about another ECW ppv that the WWE might be putting on and he confirmed that the ppv will be taking place on June 11...
What do yall think?....How should WWE do this?...Should they work it the same way they did it last year?...or completly rework it...
Hopefully this time there will be no Invasion angle...

No I don't think they should have it unless everyone is able to do it, by everyone I mean Raven, Lynn, 3D, Rhyno, etc. The show was meant to be a curtain call and the goodbye the company was never allowed to have. I feel it, coupled along side the first Hardcore Homecoming accomplished that very well. That should be the last show. Only way I'd be excited would, be like I said, if everyone was allowed to work the show, give them their mainstream goodbye to the company also, then never do another.

they should have one every day.

Yeah, picking up more guys (IE- Combining HH and the last ONS) would really help this out a lot.
Just... Avoid the whole ECW invasion thing again.

It kinda takes away the meaning of 'one night stand' don't you think?I think they're doing this for RVD more than anything since he missed out last time.

Hey, if it means we get one more RVD/Lynn match, I'll buy it.
As long as Heyman and Dreamer book it like last year, I'll be fine with it.
Hopefully they'll do it in the ECW arena...

How about letting only guys who didn't get to wrestle on the last one to have matches.
Thoughts?

Yeah. Even though Austin was an ECW guy at one point, him going in and Stunning people seemed too much like WWE interjected that.
How about letting only guys who didn't get to wrestle on the last one to have matches.

Idea sucks dude. Aside from Van Dam and Tazz (who won't wrestle anyway), who is there that you could actually draw an audience with?

Ahhhh this idea is dumb, there are no more matches and nobody cares. It's just not special anymore.

I dont like the One Night Stand 2 thing I prefer ECW Casual Relationship

All the former ECW guys who are under contract will definitely be on the card: Paul Heyman, Tommy Dreamer, Joey Styles, Taz, Rob Van Dam, Cactus Jack, Chris Benoit, Rey Mysterio Jr, Little Guido, Joey Matthews, Steven Richards, Nova, Kid Kash, Psicosis, Super Crazy, Mack Daddy Kane, Johnny Swinger, and Skull Von Krush/Vito Lagrasso.
Then there are a whole whack of talent that (I assume) cannot work the Pay Per View because they are under contract for TNA: Shane Douglas, Raven, Rhino, Dudley Boys, Jerry Lynn, Sinister Minister, Simon Diamond, and Sabu.
You have you're independants/retired: Terry Funk, Sandman, Mikey Whipwreck, Justin Credible, Balls Mahoney, Axl Rotten, Ian Rotten, New Jack, Little Spike Dudley, Blue Meanie, Bam Bam Bigelow, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Al Snow, Pitbull #1, Lance Storm, Dean Malenko, Chris Jericho, 2 Cold Scorpio, Mike Awesome, Masato Tanaka, Kronus, Saturn, Jimmy Snuka, TAKA Michinoku, Tracy Smothers, Tony Mamaluke, JT SMith, Big Guido, Sal E. Graziano, Tommy Rich, Christian York, Danny Doring, Roadkill, CW Anderson, Steve Corino, Jack Victory, EZ Money, Chris Hamrick, Chris Chetti, Julio Dinero, Devito, Angel, Vic Grimes, Joel Gertner, ....
There are still TONS of potential wrestlers to work the second annual ECW Pay Per View, and have it still be a great show.

Somewhere I saw that Terry Funk was going to be the main attraction to this show. Forget where I read that so not sure if it's true but whatever

So is this an ECW.....Second Night Stand?
I'd like to see ECW make a return, but for some reason I feel that WWE is going somewhere with this and it's gonna be really stupid in the end. But right now, I'm up for it.

If they let them do what they want and the quality is the same as last year's, then hey, why not?
I just have the nagging suspicion that this second one will disappoint because the WWE writers will try to control the show.

Come on, be serious, if TNA didn't let the guys wrestle at the last show, why would they let them wrestle now?
Ryhno
3D
Raven
Justin Credible
Jerry Lynn
Shane Douglas
Sabu
Are all on TNA deals
The only guys who are not on WWe or TNA deals right now are:
The Sandman
Bam Bam
New Jack
Roadkill and umm his partner, shit can't remember his dam name
Chris Chetti
Blue Meanie
Tanaka
Mike Awesome
That's about it! That's fucking terrible! It should of just been left as a one off, this will blow big balls

This would be good if TNA and WWE got together (only if Vince dies) and did the Second Night Stand otherwise it would be a let down to most ECW fans. But the fact that the are doing it is cool atleast Vince is saying something about ECW.

Oh great, they'll make the main event RVD vs Rey just so RVD could main event in it since he wasn't there last time, & Rey could work the match in honor of Eddie and ride that horse 'till it's..... uhhh.... is it too early to say dead?
Then again, that idea within itself is another thread.
Unless WWE could score some major ECW talent (Team3D, Raven, Rhino, BWO, New Jack, Shane Douglas, 2 Cold Scorpio, and a few others) it'll just be "Well, since RVD wasn't a part of it last time, let's do it again!" And don't call it "One Night Stand 2." Maybe "Hardcore Lives" or "Still alive" and this time get a small time wrestling show for ECW to follow though. Hell, WWE could set up a storyline where Ohio Valley invades ECW.

Oh and I'm very meh about this one. It just won't be the same without a lot of wrestlers being there. It would be like having an 80s reuinion and not being able to book Macho Man, Steamboat, Million Dollar Man, and a couple of other guys who had a big role in the 80s.
This One Night Stand will be missing even more important ECW guys, so right now I'm not excited about. I'm not unexcited about it either though.
I'd crap my pants if I head Tazz was getting his huge fat ass mad in shape to wrestle in it though.
I actually watched ONS earlier today and thought that it would be cool if the WWE made Velocity and Heat into one two hour show and used smaller venues. But that's just me.

Yeah, that to.But it was RVD's idea originally so its only right that he gets to be in a match at that PPV, it's kind of ironic that he didnt get to last time.

That was probably going to be his only main event match where he stood a chance of winning. Now he'll have to settle for losing to Triple H like the rest... again.

If they cannot book RVD V. Lynn, the the money match would be between \
