Like the title says who was your idea of the best wrestler ever? Give a few reasons if youd like.

To me its gotta be the Bret Hart. Saw him so many times at house shows as a kid and even then didnt let the fact that there was no cameras make him perform any less then he normally would. nearly everything he did was text book performed from an arm drag to an armbar to a elbow off the top rope, it all looked picture perfect to me. He also could sell moves pretty well, not as good as the rocks over doing it sells, but more in a realistic sense.

He wasnt afraid to put any one over beacuse he knew the legacy of bret hart would never die out no matter how much he was beaten (unless were talking shawn micheals, but were all allowed to hate that one annoying fuck at work right?) and NO one can do the sharp shooter like he did. Wish wed get one more time with him in the ring, for the farewell/hall of fame he deserves but wont take.

It's close for me between Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. Guess I'll go with Michaels, simply because I've been watching him practically his whole career, and there's quite a bit of "old-school" Flair that I haven't seen yet.

Michaels is still out there every week, at an age when most wrestlers should hang 'em up, putting on phenomenal matches. You can argue that each of the last four years, HBK has been in the match of the year. Add to that the fact that he was better before his back injury, and he gets my vote.

Hart's way up there, but the terms on which he left WWE and his career-ending injuries knock him down a peg. I'd probably put him third.

I watched Wrestling from 1996-2000 then stopped and back again no way out 2004 - now...
so far i think it's either kurt angle or micheals because of the match they put on at mania

There's no question, it is between Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. And HBK wins it every time for me. He is simply the best there ever was.

Bret Hart cannot touch either of these guys. He is the most overrated wrestler ever.

Anyone who didn't know I was going to come in here and say THE NATURE BOY...WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!...SLICK...RIC...FLAIR....

And why you might ask? Because he's a kiss stealin', wheelin' dealin', son of a gun who along with the Horsemen have kissed the girls world wide. Cause Ric can do it better then anyone baby! Cause diamonds are forver and so is Ric Flair.

After Flair would probably come a 3 way tie between Tully Blanchard, Triple H, and Chris Jericho.

I dont' know how you could say Bret Hart is over rated. Watch his DVD, everything in the ring he does has flow, and just looks real. Very few wrestlers make everything look so real. If anything, Ric Flair is over rated.

It is really a difficult question to answer though. I think Hart, Michaels and Curt Hennig are tops of this list, probably in that order, but everyday the order could be different.

I hear bret hart isnt very smooth in the ring, he cant go with moves too well, even if that is BS, I was never captivated by any of his matches, they were pretty boring.

I gotta go with HBK on this one, his matches are so innovative and full of life, I cant really explain it, and I havent seen nearly enough Flair to be the judge of how good a wrestler he is, so Jericho comes second for me.

Bret Hart, because even at age 42, he was capable of having the best matches of the night.

He looked so authentic in the ring, his strikes were amazingly realistic, he executed moves with ease and perfection, and he knew how to tell a story better then anyone else in the ring.

He's the best.

Kurt Angle.

I can't think of any wrestler who could execute almost any gimmick or style perfectly besides Angle.

Technical, brawler, high flyer/fast mover, heel, face, goofy face, goofy heel, ruthless bastard, etc.

Add having an immense amount of charisma and he's truly the whole fucking package plus all the upgrades.

Triple H.

He might be the biggest manipulitive prick behind the scenes, but then again so was Flair and Michaels. However, when the guy gets on the microphone he can make you hate him so much. And when he was in D-X the guy made you love him so much. He is the greatest heel of all time and a pretty good face. He may go on for 20 minutes for promos but more often then not if held to shorter promos they are great.

In the ring the guy is amazing, his matches with Austin, Rock, Foley, Michaels, Jericho, Booker T, Chris Benoit and so on and so on are all great. Even his matches with Flair he was able to drag an aging Flair to amazing matches. He was able to get two good matches out of Orton while he was till learning the ropes in the buisness. Hell, he carried Batista through a very good Hell in a Cell match, and no one else has had even a good match with Batista. I gaurentee if he faces Cena at Wrestlemania we will see Cena's best match of his career. Triple H is just that damn good.

For all the detractors just look at his body of work and you can't deny that he is at least top 5 on your list even if you don't have him number one like me.

I think Trips rather have heel/face instead of heel/heel @ WM. He might even be looking out less for himself but more from a business stand point on this one.

I would be looking forward to Trips pulling the match of his life out of Cena (might even get a double switch).

-- There are some people backstage who are upset at Triple H because he was pushing for Edge to lose the title to Cena at Royal Rumble to line himself up for a title match with Cena at WrestleMania. Many people thought that Edge was doing very well as champion and had managed to get himself over with the fans.

To put it simpily noone could match him in Charisma, Wrestling abilty and mic skillls as a package.

I would like to say Ric Flair but I was born in 1986 and some of his best matches where before my time ( I have seen some of them in retrospect) so I can give a valid answer
