John cena is fucking up by making a book and DVD, I'll admit I dont like him as a face, and he'll sell more like that, but he could have some great heel matches.

Austin Vs. McMahon is going to SUCK, because of all the blurred WWF Attitude logos and blanked out speech.

You can't deny that it won't sell
I can't comprehend how anyone could buy this DVD.
There's no sotry to tell, it's not like he's been wrestling the indies for years and finally borke into the WWE and accomplished his childhood dream of wrestling for the WWE audience and main eventing wrestlemania.
Also, there are no good matches to put on the DVD.
What the fuck will be on this shit?

Yay for the McMahon vs Austin DVD. I know it'll be tainted by all the blurred logos and blank text where they've said WWF. But yay!

All the blurred stuff is gonna suck, but I'm looking forward to Austin/McMahon. I have the original on VHS, but not DVD.

remember for a small while, they blurred "Hulk" from the Hogan? So they started caling him Hollywood .......Hogan. Now they call him Hulk again
That's because Hogan bought the rights to "Hulk" while the WWE and Marvel were fighting over the name, so instead of dealing with Marvel, WWE now has to deal with Hogan himself to use the name.

Austin Vs. McMahon is going to SUCK, because of all the blurred WWF Attitude logos and blanked out speech.
True, I hate is when you see huge blurs and thousands of them on your screen.
Example: Somebody brings in The WWF Title, the logo on the belt is blurred and so is the refs badge, the turnbuckles are each separately blurred and the huge WWF Flag that hangs from the rafters is also blured. So you hardly see anything.
But anyway, I'm looking forward to Hulk Hogan: The Ultimate Anthology and
Born to Controversy: The Roddy Piper Story.
BRIAN PILLMAN-HELL YEAH
RODDY PIPER-HELL YEAH
they added 2 more
The World's Greatest Wrestling Managers
The American Dream: The Dusty Rhodes Story (2-disc)
i want both especially the dusty
Gotta say I'm really excited about the McMahon/Austin DVD. It's what really got me into wrestling.
Everything else except for Cena's and Hogan's I'll probably get.
And truthfully the blurring isn't THAT bad. Once you watch for about 15 minutes you hardly notice it. I didn't really notice it during WM 15...

3 of those I'm definitly going to get. Hogan, Pillman, and Piper. I should get AWA because It's going to be educational since I don't know alot about it, and Austin vs. McMahon.......I may get it, I need to see a preview. They came out with a VHS tape a while back about that. And John Cena.....nah. I might but thats the one I would pass up.

02-03-2006, 07:35 PM
oh, Road Warriors added them already. my bad.
So the Pillman, Piper, Managers and AWA ones are my favs. I think you guys would like the AWA one because so many favorites on this board ( Perfect, Heenan, HBK, Jannetty, LOD, Steamboat, Piper, DDP and others) came out of there.

Sounds like a great set. Pillman and Pipers will be great because of all the footage. And I have been wanting a AWA. I cant believe there is another Cena DVD, but I will buy it if his streetfight with Eddie is on there. Dissapointed that there is no 4 Horsemen, Dusty, or Savage as rumored.

:y: Yep thats why on every DVD at the bottom it says Hulk Hogan is a trademark owned by Terry Bollea and used with permission.
