So I'm guessing that this is all real footage.

Yeah I was just reading about the audio.
I'd like to hear it but it would completely freak me out.

Where were you reading about it?
I wonder why this is already on TV....it was in theaters not too long ago.

It's just come out in the UK.
I was reading about it on IMDB.COM.

He seems a bit eccentric.

Yeah, if this is what I think it is, then holy shit. We saw this in school the other day during lunch and this guy is a nut. I laughed my ass off at him when that fox died and he got all emotional.
I wish we could hear the audio.

Well he believed (rightly or wrongly) in what he was doing. I think the best comment I heard, was from an Native fellow that said "he was more harmful than good for the bears because he had caused many of them to become habituated with humans"... You see that's not a good thing.
It was a very interesting programme, if it comes on again, I'm going to tape it. It's very compelling and I think holds a valuable set of teaching lessons that I can impart on to my kids.

Don't play with bears

They showed a clip of him on David Letterman. Dave turns to him and asks "Are we going to pick up a newspaper one morning and read that you've been eaten by a bear?"

I dunno about you, but, I thought this guy was crazy. First, he goes into the wild with Grizzlies and then gets in their faces and scoulds them for acting, well...wild.
I'm not sayin' he deserved what happened, but, geez. I think I could do something else besides staying in the wilderness with Grizzlies to kick drug habits. This guy is much the same as the Crocodile Hunter. He takes stupid risks that are unjustified, because of "beauties" of nature. I'm still expecting the Croc Hunter to get his one day too, though.

The Croc Hunter lives in reality. Whereas this guy was not in control... Doesn't mean the Croc Hunter won't get turned into crocodile poop, but his chances of survival are a lot higher.
