View Full Version : Could you imagine?
I'd like to start this by saying that I believe none of this is true and I don't want people to be offended by it...
Anyway, with all this shit of putting Eddie Guerrero in storylines that make it seem like he's not really dead and it's all a work, imagine if he wasn't dead.
Imagine if the WWE staged everything, the death, news conferences, etc. I wouldn't put it past the WWE to do such a thing. Imagine one night (remember this will never happen) Rey is calling for Eddie to help him, and the lights go out... Standing there when they come back on is Eddie, staring at Rey, ready to fight. Rey looks perplexed and Eddie and Rey's opponent attack Rey.
It would be the ULTIMATE heel turn. You make all your friends, fans, and family think you're dead, but you're not. It was all a plan to turn on your best friends.
Of course if this did happen it would get the WWE some back publicity, but Vince believes any publicity is good publicity, and something like this would no doubt bring A LOT of news coverage.
Like I said, it won't happen, and Eddie has passed, but the way it's being built up and knowing the WWE, it's something they are capable of doing.

The crowd would cheer Eddie no matter who he beat up since they would be so happy to see him alive.
It would be the greatest swerve ever though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It does still seem a bit surreal that Eddie's gone. Even after this while, it still really hasn't hit me yet. Plus, with the big hullabaloo that sparked about kayfabe being confused during the whole Lita / Matt Hardy / Edge fiasco...who knows? If WWE really liked the idea of the smarks and marks not knowing any differently, how much bigger could the first real test run be than this? I admit, it'd be sickening to find out something like this was actually going on, but people would be talking about it for years.

The more I think about it, the more I think that it could actually happen lol.
Critic mentions how we are still somewhat in the shoot "era" of the WWE and they have never played up a wrestler's death like this before.
But of course, Eddie is passed away. The RAW tribute show proved that with all the tears they shed.
But despite that, if he did come back, I'd mark out

Just John brought this up to me earlier.
Also, due to a typo in a message I sent someone else, This discourse happened...
Them: I assume that second "Eddie" should be "Rey." But at this point I understand.
KK: Sorry, I screwed up. Obviously, Eddie didn't come out. Or I'd have a whole different rant.
Them: Yeah.
Them: And a louder one, I'd think.
KK: Yeah. You'd hear me complaining about it, but not because I'd be online.
KK: You'd see me on national news with the headline "Rabid internet fan murders Wrestling mogul."
Them: Sweet.
KK: I'd fight it on an insanity plea...Why else would I put 53 shots in Vince's head?

I mean really. I saw a lot of forced emotion there. Not everyone was, and people like Rey especially were legit. Chavo was not faking. There were legit terars shed, but when you watch people like Triple H, it looks like he was speaking pure ass.
Benoit's was so hard to watch.

Except why would Eddie go through all the trouble to swerve Rey when he had already feuded with Rey two months before he passed away? :shifty:

Exactly. It was as if someone held a jalapeno pepper under "The Lame"'s gigantic nose and then he forced out tears.....
HHH didn't like Guerrero. I'm sure he didn't care if he ever main-evented. He was just supporting Benoit because it was the "in" thing to do, since Vinnie Mac & family were close to Guerrero. The only ones that seemed sincerly[IMO] were Chavo, Benoit, Malenko, Arn Anderson, Mysterio, and Shane McMahon[crying like a baby]. The rest were faking.
And if WWE ever even thought of staging a death[especially a great like Eddie Guerrero], I would stop watching completely. Interesting seeing as that's where they seem to be going with the whole Mysterio/Orton thing. Like Eddie is going to return any minute. They need to just make Orton #1 contender and quit mocking the memory of a legend. I doubt the WWE would go this far simply to "work" the fans, though I wouldn't put it past them.

For some reason, at WrestleMania, I can see the entire Guerrero family running down during the main event (which I hope Rey will be in), to try and get him to win the title.
Holy shit! Can you imagine the heat Chavo Guerrero would get if he ran out and cost Mysterio his match, either at WrestleMania or No Way Out?
I wish this was all a work. Not because I'm still upset Eddie's gone, I mean it was a great loss, but he's at peace now. I just wish it was a work because of the ovation he would get. Who cares if he lied to us...EDDIE F'N GUERRERO would be back!

I'm torn on this whole situation. I can still hardly believe that Eddie is gone. But with the way things have been going lately in WWE, it's like he's not really dead. You don't want to think that the WWE is that sick to completely make a mockery of a big name on their show.
However there seems to be some conspiracy regarding Eddie and Orton. Orton took Eddie's spot at Survivor Series. Orton tried to "kill" Undertaker using Eddie's car. And now of the comments being made.
I don't even want to think of all of this being a swerve. But how the hell could WWE convince all of their stars to play off of this, and run with it. And much less, all of these stars to go along with it. Of course we aren't backstage and hearing what these guys really think of what is going on. However it is sickening to hear if that this would all be some kind of swerve.
If it were a swerve, and none of the guys know about it, I'm sure half of them would walk out, ESPECIALLY Rey, Chavo (although if it were he and his family would probably know about it) and Benoit.

I would mark out if a pissed off Chavo spoilt Rey's Wrestelmania chances because he was tired of hearing Rey's garbage about Eddie and, as an actual blood relative of Eddie, he's finally taken offence to Rey driving Eddies' low-rider and doing the frogsplash when a couple of months ago he was beating the hell outa him because of the Diminic storyline.
Of course this would have to ignore the fact that Chavo's been using the frogsplash as well.

But at least Chavo's blood, and it's only part of why he'd be pissed. ;)

Chavo costing Rey his WM shot would be the best move for both of them.
They could have a sensational WM match in the memory of Eddie,
and bury the entire ordeal forever.

Yeah, but what's the worst they could do? Deport him? He'd be back in the country within a week.
How could they deport him if he was BORN and RASIED in the US?
