Actual interesting things on WWE.com? Perish the thought!

The WWE.com front page actually has two things that interest me today:

1) http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/inokiwwe Simon Inoki is at WWE headquarters today. Seems like I'd heard something about this, but I forget what. Someone want to refresh my memory? Or am I imagining that I already knew about this, and this is in fact some remarkable news that is catching even the IWC by surprise?

2) http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/cappotelliovw There's a nice short piece about Matt Cappotelli vacating the OVW Title and addressing the crowd at last night's show. I feel so bad for this guy. They also have a link to video of the speech.

Cappotelli's whole story is just depressing. I wish him the best of luck in battling and overcoming this. Somehow.

The only reason I can think why Vince is interested in New Japan is cos of Lesner, This could be very interesting. HBK Vs Lesner?

It's laughable that WWE.com has to resort to a "shoot" style format to get hits. Possible sign of lack of interest in the "product"?

1}There are two reasons I can think of why Vince is in talks with NJPW. One is named Brock Lesnar. If Vince's "talks" are finalized, I'm sure Lesnar will have no other option but to settle and return to WWE. This kinda forces Lesnar's hand[if his lawsuit doesn't pan out]. The second reason is to spite TNA. TNA workers such as Raven, Team 3D[Dudleyz], Rhino, Abyss, Jarrett, etc are usuals who frequent Japan in hopes of making TNA a global product. Vince realizes this and wants to stop TNA's efforts. Having a deal with NJPW would do just that.

2}Matt Cappotelli was awesome on TE3. He had alot of natural in-ring ability and I've only heard positive things about him via rumors. It's sad he was on the verge of becoming a WWE superstar and fate intervenes and halts his momentum. I wish the guy all the best and hope his medical condition gets better.
