He does 100x more good for the world than you do.
who cares about his motives if he is using his celebrity to promote the cancellation of world debt etc.?
Get off your high horse you pathetic person.

I saw U2 live in 2001. I'm not a huge fan, particularly of their latest work, but they put on a fantastic show. Worth catching at least once. Their older stuff is as anthemic as ever.
Say what you want about Bono, but the man has written some great songs and that's all I care about when I pay for a ticket to go see U2.

I saw Pearl Jam twice when they came to Toronto in september and I also caught U2 the same week. Actually Bono came out at the beginning of the pearl jam concert and sang a couple songs with pearl jam. The place went fucking crazy.

I have the DVD of a concert they did the night Ireland qualified for the 2002 world cup, looked unbelievable, makes me really wish I could afford a ticket to their tour down here.

I too missed tickets to their Australian shows, but while in the queue for Kanye West tickets we found out some more U2 tickets were released, so I managed to get ahold of a couple. Can't wait for it, going to be awesome. Telstra Dome, have to be more than 50,000 there at least.
