Not sure if here in the VG forum or the movie forum is right place for it but here ya go. I love the games and hopefully this wont be, but probally be a shitty transistion to film. And even better it comes out the day after my b day.

I watched the trailer a while ago, and from that it looks promising. I don't know/think they'll capture the creepyness that is Silent Hill because Hollywood screws everything up.They could basically make Silent Hill 2 the movie. That game gave me nightmares.

I just hope we get some long pauses without dialogue, and let the atmosphere tell a lot of the story.

I don't think this will suck, but I do have my reservations about it being great. I mean, look at every video game turned into a movie; Super Mario Bros, Double Dragon, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat Annihilation (I really liked the first one), and others.

Saw the trailer today. Looks quite faithful to the game.

Looks like this may turn out to be the best VG made movie yet- May, keep in mind.
