We always hear about the shit that did make the air like robocop saving Sting, Mae Youngs hand and Katie Vick but what about the shit that never made it.
If you have heard any rumours or anything about the zany ideas that never made it post it in here.
Here are some of the ones I have heard
- Vince wanted to call Austin Chilly Mc Freeze instead of Stone Cold.
-Vince planned for Mary Henry to be the next generations big superstar after 1996
-When Vince thought about calling Bret Hart to be called the Hitman he wanted Bret to come out in a pinstripped suit and talk with a gangsta accent. Bret refuses and designed his own clothes (according to Bret)
- Melina was going to be revealed as a man early this year but Steph refused the idea (Ironic huh)

The Hunchbacks!
Back in the old NWA, when Jim Herd was running it, he suggested that they have a tag team of hunchbacks. The idea was that they couldn't be pinned, because their shoulders weren't touching the mat.
- Vince wanted to call Austin Chilly Mc Freeze instead of Stone Cold.
<font color=white>That was just one of quite a few brutal names they suggested</font>

Robocop?
Yea, saw it on YouTube awhile back.
When Robocop 3 was coming out, they had him come in on an edition of one WCW show to come out and help Sting against The Horsemen

Chilly Mc Freeze, it's times like this that I think Vince Mackman is really insane.

I've heard that, too, but I still think it's bullshit. Austin himself came up with the "Stone Cold" moniker after his wife (at the time) commented that his tea would be "stone cold" if he let it sit too long. It's a well-documented story, unlike that "Chilly McFreeze" bullcrap.

Okay, I watched the Bret Hart DVD from beginning to end and heard NOTHING about this.

Ironic indeed. That sounds like the kind of CRAP Stephanie loves nowadays. "ONLY -I- GET TO BE THE WOMAN WITH THE PEE PEE IN WWE! THAT'S WHY CHYNA GOT FIRED! TEEHEEHEE!!"

Either Austin or Vince said it on the "Stone Cold Truth" DVD...

From what I've read, when Austin suggested a name change to reflect a cold-as-ice persona, WWE came up with a list of gimmicky names. Instead Stone Cold came about the name due to a conversation with his wife about tea. I think this was mentioned in Stone Cold Truth book and also in one of Foley's books

Austin has said it several times in interviews, spoken and in print. "Chilly McFreeze" and the "Ice Dagger" were names they were going to use in place of his "Ringmaster" persona.

Yeah because Bret said everything that Vince has ever said to him in his entire history with the wwe on that DVD didnt he??
Bret said it in a interview around the time when his dvd was released. I cannot remember the site but he did say it. He was asked wheither he believed that wwe wrestlers didnt have enough say about the direction of thier onscreen characters. He then relayed my already mentioned story and how he also developed his own costume as well
