Whoa, are there Dreamcast emulators for the PC or is this ROMs for consoles or something?

It's possible to burn the ROMs to a normal cd and play them on a Dreamcast. My friend discovered the Dreamcast I have plays imports copies with no modification needed.
-edit- If burnt using DiscJuggler set to a certain mode.

Yes like Jonster said, you can burn them to a cd and play them on a Dreamcast without a modchip or anything. There are DC emulators for the PC but they still run pretty damn slow.

So all I have to do is burn these roms on a regular blank CD, and I can play them on my Dreamcast?

Like, just burn it as a data CD?

Clone CD works best for me. It has a "game" option you can pick before you burn. Also, burning at the lowest speed works best.

Well, I tried some downloading last night and my internet went down till like noon today. Dunno, if the torrents actually caused it, but I think I'm staying away from them until I get a new computer.

Not quite.
It's been a while, so this maybe a little off, but you need DiscJuggler (there is a demo), then you burn the image to the disc, but you need to set the burn mode to Raw or something (I know it's the bottom option of one of the drop downs on that page).
If you google it you'll find how to do it.

Sweet. I just downloaded a Sega CD pack and they work on the Gens emulator. :y:
I liked playing those full motion video games like Night Trap.
I downloaded two packs, but how the fuck do I use them. :|
i.e., they do not appear on the roms list on my emulators.

Which system were they for?
If they were for Sega CD you have to mount the image with Daemon Tools, or a similar program, and then select that virtual drive and Boot CD. (With Gens)
Both sets are .7z files. WTF is that.
