The fallout from last week's controversial WWE Byte This webcast has extended past The Heart Throbs, who were released by WWE, reports PWInsider.com.
The word going around last night's WWE SmackDown! taping, which reflects a week's worth of rumor and speculation, is that WWE is seriously considering removing the program from WWE.com.
Sources believe that the show will not be brought back in its live format—if it does remain on WWE.com in any form, it will be a taped show.
The WWE employee responsible for producing the segment last week was released along with The Heart Throbs, indicating the degree of seriousness attached to the issue.
I was wondering why the Hearthrobs were released when they were scheduled to be on Byte This!...
This is the first Ive actually heard of this situation...Can someone fill me in on what happened?

I heard something about the Heartthrobs trying to strip Grisham. I'll br damned if I try to look for anything more about that.
What Would Kevin Do?

I heard, but I forgot. It was something like they were being really lewd or something? Like really rude and vulgar to the callers, a lot of sex talk w/ the ladies, etc? Like Grishman would try to stop it, and they'd ignore him.

No...according to reports I've seen on the web, they broke Keyfabe...in a big way. Like in a way that hasn't been seen in a looooooooooooong time.

So they feel the best way to cover it up is to can Byte This? Why didn't they can Dinsmore when he broke kayfabe at the house show?

World Wrestling Hypocrisy. That's why.

Figured. That show had been getting too "real" for WWE (who seems adamant about protecting kayfabe, when...they don't even build a credible kayfabe in the product) as of late.

Taken from WWE.com
Despite several erroneous reports circulating on the Internet, WWE.com has not cancelled Byte This! Additionally, the producer of the weekly webcast has not been fired, and the Heart Throbs were not released specifically for their performance on the show.
Byte This! is currently on hiatus and is being reconceived as part of a new slate of digital WWE.com content to be unveiled soon. Stay logged on to WWE.com for more information on the new Byte This! as it becomes available.

AKA "We're rehiring the producer and bring Byte This! back with a few changes so we can shove it in other sites' faces."
