Head of State wasn't a "good" movie, but it's not the worst movie ever made. And Men In Black 2 was good, so you are just stupid, Diesel Mac.

Personally, my pick for worst movie I've ever seen would be "Encino Man".

Too stupid to understand the intricate plot of Men In Black 2.

D Mac
02-18-2006, 03:53 AM
Bullshit.

They had five years to think up a story and clearly thought one up in 5 hours. It was a disaster from start to finish. All the humour was lost, all the chemistry between Smith and Jones was non existant. The plot was basically a recycled version of the first film, only worse.

It's not supposed to have an intricate plot - it's a action buddy comedy movie sequel. Calling it the worst movie ever is absurd. You'd think with your heart beating so fast some of that blood would work it's way to your head. Obviously not the case.

The Descent is miles better than Alone in the dark. The ending made perfect sense. No-one gets out alive. The girls being good-looking wasn't really the point either. One the best horror movies in ages.

I don't remember what it was called but it was like a F budget movie and all it was was this guy walking through a forest and a desert, no dialogue the whole movie, he just walked through the desert deliriously, then at the end he walks into a bar and everyone looks and he goes "I have returned."

Absolutely irrelevant. Yes, it was a disappointment compared to the rest of the franchise, but if it's not even the worst of its genre, how can it be the worst overall, which is what the question is?

As bad as B&R is, I think its horribleness is exaggerated because the franchise started off so well. Was I disappointed in "The Phantom Menace?" Sure! Was it the worst of the Star Wars franchise? Sure! But is it the worst movie I've ever seen? Not by a long shot.

I have to say Coffee and Cigarettes. I got up and left during this movie, got convinced to sit back down... and left again. Left twice on one viewing. It wins. I heart huckabees, aggravated the hell out of me because it was trying SO SO SO SO hard to be kitchy. From the moment I saw Jason Schwartzman was in the lead, I knew they were trying to go for some sort of Wes Anderson feel... and failed so miserably I had to quit that film.

So far, that's it for recent movies. OH OH OH, on Christmas Eve, my future sister in law watched one of those films... what was it... oh yeah! "Must Love Dogs"

Fuck... fucking Must Love Dogs... it was Christmas and that... *#$@#()&@# was watching the worst movie of all time. And I used to think Diane Lane was hot, too. Now I just wish... I wish I could go back in time and destroy this film on preproduction. FUCK! I'm angry now.

Please, stop being retarded. Most people would never see the FF movie...It NEVER even made it to DVD, so you have to be an übernerd to have even seen it. Batman and Robin had promise because it was part of a successful franchise. This isn't irrelevent, as it establishes that more people will have seen the latter over the former, which is exactly the point. More people will consider some mainstream movie everyone's seen to be the worst they've ever seen, because...gasp...They've seen it!

You chose some pretty uncommon movies for people to have seen, and compared them to a mainstream "blockbuster."

In fact, you may have chosen 3 Marvel movies people were LEAST likely to have seen. FF: Never released anywhere. Nick Fury: D2DVD far as I know, not widely distributed, shown occasionally on Sci-Fi, but most people haven't seen it. Captain America: So horrible they originally canned it, barely made a showing for itself.

But please, try and change the argument, because God knows you're not bright enough to grasp the relevance of "number of people who've seen a movie" to "why B&R gets mentioned in worst movies you've ever seen."

Actually, the movie isn't as bad as what it is made out to be. The monster's rights were sold to Toho, and the creature is an official Godzilla monster now. It was explained that the Americans immediately assumed it was Godzilla, where it was just a close type of creature. The animal's name is 'Zilla', and it appears in Godzilla: Final Wars.

It is if you ask a Matrix fan. If the point is that B&R is the worst movie ever because it's the worst of a franchise that started off well, then the same logic should be applicable to The Matrix. It was every bit the disappointment to Matrix fans that B&R was to Batman fans, if not more because it was the creators butchering their own creation instead of a franchise outsider putting the final nail in.

I still stand by my original comment that Batman and Robin is, in fact, the worst movie of all time.

First of all, Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze and George Clooney as Batman are two of the most miscast stars I've ever heard of. They turned Batman into a fucking Schwarzenegger vehicle, turning him into the star, and a very uncharismatic one at that.

Pathetic storyline. The whole thing with Poison Ivy and Robin was just stupid and horribly contrived. Yeah, I'm sure Robin is going to join the crazy bitch in green with the clown masked ape (Bane, who was butchered), even though she's obviously bad.

The introduction of Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone) and the sickness of Alfred were fucking ridiculous, and Clooney's horrible reactions to his BEST FRIEND Alfred's impending death was atrocious to watch, even though I was like 10 at the time.

Watch the movie. Seriously try and watch the whole thing. I'll bet you can't do it.

Listen, I'm all for the right to your own opinion, and you can not hate Batman and Robin all you want... but to defend it so vehemently... it's pathetic. It was a fucking horrible movie. Batgirl was pathetic. It was marketed at children. But the sad thing is... a lot of the cartoon Batmans were far better than that. Mask of the Phantasm, for example, great movie. But my eight year old nephew loved Batman and Robin. That should be some proof right there to shut up already. Accept that it was a bad movie. It's okay to like bad movies for whatever sick, perverted reason... but don't argue their quality.

1) I loved how they had a never ending supply of amo in that Death Star on wheels. I just kept  everytime i saw a new rocket get pulled from no where. Its like , is there a Rocket Depot on every corner where they just pick these things up.

2) The whole " zombies getting distracted by fireworks " thing was so fucking hilarious. They're dead yet they are mildly intrested in fireworks. :wtf:

3) John Leguizamo leading anyone

4) The midget being a mafia leader

5) But my favorite was the last scene where he's like " Oh the zombies are just looking for a place to go. " :| After all that BS of zombies killing everyone and shit. And the message at the end of the movie is... Sure they killed most of our population, but now they just need another place to go, so lets not kill them.

I understand why Blockbuster doesnt carry this film.

Wow. I'd call The Game one of the best thrillers in the past 10 years. Possibly even better than Se7en.

I almost agree with you. It was pretty awesome, for being a Michael Douglas film, I absolutely loved it. I'd have to see a list of thrillers, though, to make that assessment.

Good GOD, is everybody missing the point!

 The irony there.

But I do enjoy when people pull this "it's everyone's fault but mine" shtick.

People get your point. It's just stupid, and it's fun watching you cling vehemently to it.

Yes. There are worse movies.

No, not everyone has seen them. Why are people more likely to call B&R the worst movie they've ever seen? Because of the sheer volume of people who have seen it, as opposed to the shit you cited. It's that simple.

But you don't get that. It's unfathomable for you. It's everyone's fault but yours. People don't see the world from the same perspective as you. How unfair.

There's ton's in the horror genre, but the worst I've ever seen is "Skinned Deep."

Some others: Van Wilder (worst performance EVER by an actress is Tara Reid), Fever Pitch (same for Jimmy Fallon), The Real Cancun (FUCK everyone in this movie!!!), The Blues Brothers 2000 (I want to shoot that kid in the face), Hercules Goes to NY (one of Arnold's virst).....and by far the worst movie I've ever seen....KUNG POW!!!

Kung Pow was something that you can only really enjoy if you're looking for something that's utterly stupid. It's one of those "you get it or you don't" sorts of movies. It's not about intellectual level (In terms of you have to be "smart" to get it) or even about good/bad, just about a specific sort of mindset you go into it with.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Highlander 2: The Cashening. Or if they did, I missed it.

Same writer and director. If you think long and hard (lol tall order for you I know), you'll realize that they're very similar films. Except that Kung Pow! was a lot more experimental, and because it was based in a pre-filmed movie, it had to rely more on script and editing, which, if Ace Ventura had only been about script and editing, well... most of the idiots who needed visuals like Ace Ventura coming out of a rhino's ass, probably won't enjoy Kung Pow that much... because the most outrageous thing they do there is the cow fight... which was imo the worst part of the film.

Another movie I'm surprised that wasn't mentioned was Envy. Jack Black, Ben Stiller, and Christopher Walken being in a movie this terrible makes it even worse. Well Ben Stiller I can see.... Kind of a weird list. I would think that "worst sequels ever" applies when the preceeding films were good/great and the sequel is a drastic drop in quality. I don't recall anyone saying the F13th films were any good, same with Leprechaun. Plus, what's up with leaving off Exorcist II? That is truely a disgrace to the original, which is great.

And Godfather III? Please. It has flaws yeah but there is a plethora of sequels more deserving to be on this list than that.

And isn't The Phantom Menace a prequel, anyway, same with Dumb & Dumberer.

I would say DOOM is just about the worst movie i've ever seen. Other than the scene in the 1st person, it sucks! Where are the cacademons (sp?) and all the other awesome monsters???

Other crap movies include:

Striptease, a girl works for the FBI, losses her job, and becomes a stripper...WTF!
Junior...seriously, that was crap!
Spiderman 2....I hate the girl in it...she ruined that film SO MUCH!
Fantastic Four....utterly hopeless film
You've got mail

btw: Napolena Dynamite was brilliant!

CONTAINS DOOM SPOILERS!!! (Kinda... highlight to read)

Guessing by the ending there'll clearly be a sequel (I hope)... hopefully based more on the old games... I think I read somewhere about a sequel, and it just makes sense for him to come up at the top of the arc and find the whole of Earth populated with demons and stuff.

Still, I really liked that film.

That has got to be the worst piece of shit I have ever seen and this is from a guy who has a penchant for bad movies.

Little Man. By far the shittiest movie I have ever seen. One of the few to have only 1 quote on the DVD, from the director

Really? To me it seemed like the only chuckle worthy material was shown during the commercial. Other than that the movie seemed retarded, but hey thats my opinion

There are very few movies that get the distinction of being turned off before they are over from me. I can sit through some stupid shit and it doesn't phase me. But Neverending Story made me want to murder everyone that was involved with it, and got turned off after 30 minutes of pure agony.

Lady in the Water was pretty fucking bad. It's the worst movie I've ever seen that I actually thought might be good.

Shitty horror sequels and romantic comedys and the like don't really count, because they are what they are. They suck, the actors and studios know they'll suck, I know they'll suck and I don't see them willingly.
They can only be gauged for what they are.

But when it's something legitimate, and it comes out THAT fucking bad. Wow. Absolutely the worst movie I've ever seen in a theater.
Made Batman and Robin look like Citizen fuckin Kane

Mister Sinister
11-08-2007, 03:13 AM
That is pretty bad, make sure, I never am forced to watch that movie, unless there is an blowjob, followed by an cumshot to the cheek involved.

I don't care who's administering the smokeshow, there's no way you could possibly keep an erect penis during the abortion that is that movie. I don't even know if you can keep your brain awake, let alone keep your dick awake to get brain.

Seriously, they even managed to make Bryce Dallas Howard, who I though was dope as hell in Spidey 3, look gross. Haven't really seen her in much else, but she was gross in Lady in the Water, yet in Spidey 3 I would tear. that. ass. up.
