Based on line-ups released for upcoming shows in England there are obvious changes in storylines after WrestleMania. John Cena will continue his feud with Triple H, Flair will do a program against Edge, and if Shelton Benjamin wins the Intercontinental Title it appears he will probably feud with Rob Van Dam. Expect Mickie James to be a full-fledged heel teaming with Victoria and Candice Michelle. Jamal is expected to be on the main RAW roster.
On the SmackDown side of things, expect Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio to continue and don’t be surprised if they put Mysterio into a triple threat match between the three of them at WrestleMania. Chris Benoit is expected to feud with Mark Henry for the US Title after WrestleMania and MNM are scheduled to hold the tag championships. Giant Singh will be working on SmackDown as Dalip and the current plan is for Chavo Guerrero to be a face on RAW. Remember things could always change.

Flair Edge was shity, RVD/Shelton could rock, and HHH/Cena was a kinda "I figured."

Please get Flair out of storylines that involve him in matches for fuck sake, I thought Edge was having a feud with Mick Foley?

If you can call anything Foley does a feud.

And then Yokozuna pops up from his grave and goes apeshit on both cuz he was the biggest man in pro wrestling ever. :shifty:
(given what the writers have done recently...)

Fuck that, pair Big Show and Singh up, and have them steal Akebono/ other fat japanese guys finisher that I can't think of. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, it's Akebono on the second rope, other guy on the top, and the smaller fat man jumps on Akebono's back and they do a double splash. Like 800 Lbs of death.

Whoo Benoit vs Henry, that's a dream feud right there.

Poor Benoit. Though I guess it means he's getting the US title back

Why does the WWE insist on dragging out storylines? John Cena vs. Triple H should end at WrestleMania. Please let it stay dead and buried after that.
Shelton Benjamin vs. Rob Van Dam could be good, but don't you think RVD is deserving of a better push? Especially with ECW One Night Stand II in the works.
Chris Benoit vs. Mark Henry should be craptastic. They already had a match. It was OK. Benoit won. Do we need to see it again? Let Benoit feud with someone talented like Doug Basham, Paul Burchill or William Regal.
Edge vs. Ric Flair? Haven't they done that recently?
Kurt Angle vs. Randy Orton vs. Rey Mysterio, like John Cena vs. Triple H, should evolve after WrestleMania. Have the World Heavyweight Champion and the man not involved in the fall at Mania feud for the belt until Judgment Day. So, hopefully this would mean Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio at JD. Have Angle retain, and then have him feud with some other challenger until Batista is ready to return.
Dalip is still fairly inexperienced isn't he? Why bring him up so early?
This all sounds really negative because it is. I could stop watching until Summerslam and things would still be pretty much the same. The WWE needs to get things more fluid.

so RVD's push is over then, nice and quick. Ah well, cant say i didn't expect it.
HHH/Cena is inevitable really - cant say im surprised.
Giant Singh is, well, giant, but not in a fat bastard sense by the looks of it. Knowing WWE writers, he'll have a load of squash matches then get pushed into the main event, suck at it cos he's still green, and then get dropped back to OVW to be never seen again, ala Mordecai.

On the upside, he's going to beat someone in just under 25.5 tons.

Benoit went from WHC to US champ. Unbelievable.

Indeed, i can't believe Benoit went from WHC to US champion.
That man deserves better, i hope that they at least give him another title shot and a title reign that will last longer then the first one.

Only to vacate the title in a match against Kane. (I think it was during that run.)

Wait, wait, wait. This is the matchup that injured Mark Henry in early 2004, and we didn't have to see him again until late 2005. Lets just see where this goes first, if you know what I'm saying.
Not that I particularly wish harm to someone else, I just can't stand Mark Henry.
well HHH did go from Champ to IC once as well
As part of an angle where he and Steve Austin were the "Power Trip" and held the World, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Championships. He was still in the main events and was the main star on the show; Benoit obviously is not, and has been feuding for the US Title for a long time: much longer than he feuded for the World Title.
It's bullshit.
Also, why the hell are they using Ric Flair when they could be putting RVD in that spot against Edge, elevating him higher up the card? If not RVD, why not Kane? Or Chavo? Why use a nearly 60-year old man when you have a talent roster of much more talented superstars?

That was during Kane's run. I'm pretty sure Triple H lost it to Jeff Hardy a few weeks before he got injured.

HHH did lose the IC title to Jeff Hardy, but I think he won it back on the next show. And Kane won the title the night before HHH tore his quad.
And I guess Dalip's probably getting pushed because he's a big guy. Nothing new here.

Yeah, but Kane's IC title run where the titles were eventually unified was in 2003. HHH tore his quad in 2001 - a different title run.
