Donnie Brasco is probably his best film, that I have seen. I'm a big fan of his.

Depp and Pacino are supreme in Donnie Brasco. Doesn't seem to get mentioned often when people talk about great films, though.

He's not afraid to take unusual roles. He does them well and is deserving, in my opinion, of the positive endorsements he recieves from his peers.

Chocolat (gets good when Johnny shows up) and The Astronaut's Wife are the only Depp movies I hate. I don't count his little cameo appearance on Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare.
