Matches:

Kurt Angle V.S. Randy Orton V.S. Rey Mysterio.

John Cena V.S. Triple H.

Vince McMahon V.S. Shawn Michaels.

Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Chris Benoit V.S. JBL

*RUMOURED*

Mick Foley V.S. Edge.

Undertaker V.S. Mark Henry.

Lashley V.S. Finlay.

Booker T V.S. Boogeyman.

Trish Stratus V.S. Mickie James.

Candice Michelle V.S. Torrie Wilson.

------------------------------------------------------------

There are still matches that need to be made for Big Show & Kane as I doubt they'd be left out of Wrestlemania.(perhaps added to MITB)

There do seem to be an awful lot of matches this year. 11, unlike 8 last year (I think)

With so many matches and so little time, it's a wonder if many matches will get the time they deserve, considering a lot of these matches do not belong on Wrestlemania. (Booker V.S. Boogeyman and Mark Henry all together)

Do you feel there may be too many matches at Mania that there wont be long enough time for the Main Events (like last year when Cena-JBL was cut to 6 mins)

Is there too many matches at Wrestlemania this year?

JBL/Benoit confirmed? Doesn't seems like it'd happen with JBL's injury...

I thought JBL was injured and out of Wrestle Mania.

It was announced on Smackdown.

There were 8 matches last year. Granted, two of them were fairly short.

I think they'll save Booker/Boogey Man and Lashley/Finlay for SmackDown! sometime around WrestleMania.

I'm not really sure how bad JBL's hand is, but wrestlers have had hand injuries in the past and wrestled. We'll just have to wait and see on that one.

I heard some report that said JBL's inury isn't enough to keep him out of WM.

oh yeah, I forgot about Big Show V.S. Akebono seeing as it was a load of crap...

Is WM still 4 hours? If it is, then they have time for 10 matches or so...

NoDQ.com > WWE > Big JBL Update: Injury, WM22 Match With Benoit
Posted by Andy Steven on 02/24/2006 at 01:55 AM

Over at the WWE website features an update on JBL's condition following surgery to repair a broken hand with a displaced bone. JBL suffered the injury earlier this week at the SmackDown tapings competing in a six man tag team match.

There is a video on the website from the surgery, featuring comments from JBL and his doctor. The video can be seen at WWE.com.

In the video, JBL is claiming that Chris Benoit tried to end his career by injuring his hand, hinting that they'll be fighting at WrestleMania. Neither JBL nor Chris Benoit is booked for another match against each other. WrestleMania 22 would be a great place for both participants to go at it against each other. JBL also said, to end a guy's career, you have to do more than go after someone's hand.

The doctor is quoted as saying JBL's hand is injured, however they want to get him back doing what he does ASAP.

Apparently a WWE source said that the surgery seemed to go well, giving an indication that the injury isn't serious enough to keep him out of WrestleMania.

Bear in mind, WM is usually towards 4 hours, though it'll probably be 4 hours of crap this year

It's to make up for the fact that there are hardly any matches on any of the other PPV's. Remember when PPV's had 7-8 solid long matches a show?

Im already prepared to sleep through the Cena/Triple H match....although hearing Triple H cheered as he beats Cena for the belt just might be worth the price of the ppv.

I highly doubt they'd put Torrie/Candice at Mania.

They'll probably have a cruiser match for heat. I doubt Boogeyman/Booker T will be at Mania. Not sure if Lashley/Findlay will be either. These matches, at least Findlay/Lashley, don't seem to be long term enough.

I reckon it will be a fatal 4 way match for the womens title, having that many singles matches doesn't look right to me.

I don't think there ae too many matches at all.

I wish Shawn Michaels was facing, you know, a wrestler. I wish the WWE Tag Team Champions would get on the card. I wish there will be cruiserweights, but I guess you can't have everything you're way.

There may still be hope for a MNM vs. Kane & Big Show match at WrestleMania. This would be great just to hear MNM point out Show has never won a match at WrestleMania to ause tension between the monsters.

Charlie Haas should be added to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. I think he'd be good in it. Benjamin should put the IC Title on the line in this one, too. I still have high hopes Trish Stratus will defend the title exclusively against Mickie James, without Torrie Wilson or Candice Michelle being involved.

I thon The Boogeyman vs. Booker T will be on the card, but hopefully it will be short. I would have prefered a Battle Royal involving Booker T & The Boogeyman as competitors. Bobby Lashley vs. Finlay is just heating up, but whether or not it goes to WrestleMania is still unconfirmed. I would love to see Bobby Lashley take and break The Masterlock Challenge at WrestleMania. How about Finlay & William Regal vs. Bobby Lashley & Paul Burchill?

Jordan X has the right WM card.

I would still love to see the MITB for both RAW and Smackdown! superstars. Adding Benoit, Super Crazy and Matt Hardy to the MITB.

But only if the US title match against JBL won't work out (JBL's injury), then it would be sweet to see Benoit win the MITB. ( Wont happen because it's only for RAW superstars),

Trish Stratus vs. Mickie James
Winner: Mickie James via pinfall.

Grudge Match
Booker T vs. The Boogeyman

Time: 5:00

-If I added that right, that's only 155 minutes of in-ring action. Not even 75% of the show. If there is time for more matches, William Regal vs. Paul Burchill would be a nice addition. You could stretch out the Cruiserweight Match by making it elimination or something.

Are they laughing at the innuendo, or the thought he might win? Because both are funny.
