Great article/interview with James Gandolfini and Sopranos creator and executive producer David Chase.

So how will "The Sopranos" draw to a close? Mr. Chase was revealing nothing, of course, other than reasserting that "this is the absolute end." But, he added: "I could not promise that we would not come back and do a movie. It may be that in two or three or four years I could be sitting around and get an idea for a really great 'Sopranos' movie. I don't think that will happen. But if one morning somebody woke up and said this would make a really good, concise, contained 'Sopranos' story, I wouldn't rule that out."

If there is a possibility of a movie then I am guessing nothing HUGE is gonna happen like Tony dying or something.

But what if Christopher takes over?

It's been so long I'm the least bit excited for the show. Especially since HBO has put out so many quality shows since the last season. But I'll watch seeing as that it is still better than a bunch of stuff on tv.

Back during like the first couple of seasons Chase said he would never kill off Tony. I wonder if he'll stick to that.

True but the way they did it, it was like they wanted you to know he was dead (since he got shot in the head and was in the middle of nowhere but his footprints vanished) but with that tiny bit of doubt. They are never bringing him back though.

I'm certain they mentioned it last season cause I just re-watched it the other week. Might've been the first ep before they killed the waiter

Certain they mentioned it at some point though.

Yeah they did. They were in the Bing having a laugh about it and Paulie and Chris starting arguing with each other who's fault it all was.
