View Full Version : What is the funniest movie you have ever seen?
Triple A

The Big Lebowski is seriously the fucking funniest movie ever. It is not so much a huge hilarious laugh out loud movie as it is subtly funny. I can seriously watch that movie 10,000 times and never ever get tired of it. There are so many little jokes and all the acting and different characters and overall weirdness of the movie just makes it incredible. There are so many parts in the movie that I just keep thinking about and they just make me ROFL right now. Gotta watch it again like tonight.
Other notables:
Clerks, The Naked Gun, Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, Old School, There's Something About Mary, Wet Hot American Summer

The Big Lebowski is golden. That's my first pick... I'm not trying to think of a decent followup movie... Clerks is good, but IMO Napoleon Dynamite and Office Space are really overrated...
Maybe Army of Darkness... Or The Princess Bride.
Actually, fuck it. Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels. That and Snatch.

I don't know I just hated them. Like they were not funny at all to me and just annoyed the shit out of me. I couldn't get into them at all.

To each their own. I have that problem with a lot of "popular" comedies, like Old School, Dodgeball, etc. The major exception being Anchorman, which I loved, and to a lesser extend, Wedding Crashers.

Not sure what would be the funniest, but I never get tired of Office Space and Road Trip. Oh, and Eurotrip is pretty good too.

For pure quoting hilarity, Anchorman is my favorite. Dunno the first time I saw it it was like "heh, worth the admission", but now every time I think about anything ever I think of an appropriate Anchorman quote and rofl irl.

Wedding Crashers. I'll that that to the list simply since it hasn't been mentioned yet. Many of the ones you guys already mentioned were right up there for me.

Wedding Crashers is the only movie I've ever cried at from laughing so hard so that might be it.

Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb
It's a little sad/scary because of how true it could have been, but it's also incredibly funny. "Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!"
Honorable mention might go to A Knight's Tale. One of my favorite movies, even though most people seem to not like it.

But I also nick named my testes - my left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater. You ladies play your cards right you just might get to meet the whole gang.

Why do people wank (or jo in Triple A's case) over The Big Lebowski?
My ex had "Big Lebowski parties," where they drank white russians and watched it. I thought, ok, that's the most retarded thing of all time, and even though she had hot friends and there were no guys going... I couldn't do it. I didn't want to mock them for two hours. The Coens annoy me.
But my answer would be Kung Pow! and "Fear of a Black Hat," to add to the ones that have already been mentioned. Oh, and Half Baked.
