What Would Kevin Do?

This was just posted on pwinsider.

Minutes ago Brent Albright won the Ohio Valley Wrestling Title in what was described to me as "a really dramatic match" with CM Punk.

About 15 minutes into the match, Punk took a very bad bump of the top rope and was stretchered out. Thinking the injury was legitimate, the crowd gave Punk a standing ovation. Albright then grabbed the leather strap that has been the central point of their rivalry the last several weeks and attacked Punk while he was on the stretcher.

Punk ended up back in the ring, and fought on one leg, with the crowd getting behind his comeback. He got the strap and began whipping Albright, but Albright kicked out Punk's leg and put Punk in an STF. Punk passed out and Albright was declared the new champion.

Nice. I wonder if this means Brent Albright will be in OVW for a while, and if CM Punk is about to be called up to the WWE? It's probably all irrelevent, though.

My personal choice would be to make Albright a two-time OVW Champion as well. Remember the days when wrestlers like Doug Basham, Damaja, Nick Dinsmore & Rob Conway won 4+ OVW Championships?

If only the WWE writers would get their heads outta their asses and NOTICE how huge of an asset Heyman would be on Raw or Smackdown! :shifty:

heyman and Steph butt heads too much. Even if she did realize how good he'd be, she'd still have a personal grudge that would keep him where he is.

And, honestly, I think Heyman is better off booking a promotion the size of OVW. He still has a chunk of Vince's budget to work with, but he has a chance to mold the future of the industry. If he can do for CM Punk, the Spirit Squad, Brent Albright, Elijah Burke, Aaron Stevens, et al what he did for Rob Van Dam and the Dudleys, we'll all be better for it.

I think what Steph SHOULD do for the sake of improving ratings AND business by putting aside this STUPID personal grudge instead of the stupid shit they are putting on my TV right now on both shows and not to mention getting ready to put ANOTHER world title around her husband's waist and subjecting us to another one of his 30 minute "I am the greatest wrestler alive cause I'm banging the boss's daughter and you all should worship the ground I walk on" speeches.:shifty: :wtf:   :foc:

oh thats right heyman is the bald guy who smells like kangaroo crotch sack.

Are you trying to make a joke about Heyman's size and appearance? I don't see how that is relevent. The guy basically made the brightest spot of the roster draft when he was booking SmackDown!.

If the WWE wants to have a good product, let Heyman write. He could instantly create feuds, storylines and angles which would make the WWE a better place. One of the best things about Heyman is that he understands the importance of a mid-card and lower-card. Heyman would get the cruiserweights noticed, get an interesting program for the US Title going, etc. If the WWE gave Heyman ONE MORE CHANCE, I would trust Heyman not to fuck it up with his rebel attitude, and book the WWE better than it has been recently.

Even if you just gave him one show to write, or had him alternate every week, or had him book Heat or Velocity for a while. Give him some ingredients to work with and he will cook up a five course meal.

Sounds pretty freaking awesome. As previously stated, it's too bad that WWE, the parent company to OVW, can't provide us with as interesting a product.

The last time anything like this happened in the WWE was... shit, I can't even fucking remember.

I just wish they would end the Punk/Albright thing. Its been going on since october and doesnt seem likes its going to end anytime soon.Plus Punk works way better as a heel.

I like Punk as a heel as well, but I think he is too popular to keep heel, especially in OVW.

Heyman listens the fans down there, so if they eventually turn on face Punk, I'm sure CM will find himself a bad guy, again.
