It seems that the "fun writing theme" of the moment is "shit on dead wrestlers".

It really all started when MNM (not sure which) made a comment about Hawk. Then the Eddie crap, and now back to Hawk.

Strange thing, were they called the Road Warriors in the WWF? I always always thought they were only called the Legion of Doom in the WWF. Then all of a sudden they're only called the Road Warriors. Why am i confused here?

They used both names in the WWF but they primaraly used the LOD name.

I swear if Ax was healthy and if it were 1988-1990, the Demolition would of kicked there ass if LOD was in the WWF.

If I had to choose my favorite of the two, I would choose the original Demolition, but the Road Warriors are the better team.

Demolition is one of the worst teams of all time. LOD is one of the greatest tag teams of all time. Then add the fact that Demolition are LOD knock offs (or when the LOD where around cannon fodder) and you've got the eisiest question ever. Who is the better tag team? Road Warriors. EASY.

If the WWF hadn't had so much more exposure than the NWA/WCW during this time period this wouldn't even be a discussion. Hawk and Animal were both amazing workers, were both intimidating as hell, and could both cut entertaining promos.

Even if you look past the fact that the gimmick was a complete knock-off of the Road Warriors, the two guys in the Demolition gimmick were generic brawlers with very little charisma and had to be carried by better workers in order to have anything resembling a good match. They had decent matches with Strikeforce, the Hart Foundation, the Brainbusters, and the Britsh bulldogs, but think of the talent involved in those teams. And its no coincidence that Barry Darsow (Smash) would end up being the Repo Man and Mr Hole in One.

Demolition sucked. They looked cool, but they sucked. Comparing the Roadies to these tow is a complete waste of time.

That I got to fully disagree with. Smash had all the charisma in the world.

and even as Repo Man, you could see all the charsima he had. There's a reason that gimmick actually got over.

WWE could have made this a mega feud but I was dissapointed mostly of what they did with it.
