Erik from Baltimore, MD sent this. ... I met Virgil from the old WWF days Saturday afternoon (3/12) at Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I thought I'd send a report along. I walked over and waved to him at first. He was like, "Hey man!" He seemed very cocky, but cool at the same time. I asked him what he had been up to lately and he said when Vince bought WCW, he still had 5 years left on his contract. He just sat home and took paycheck after paycheck. I mentioned that if Hacksaw can get back on TV, Virgil sure had a shot at it. He seemed very cocky and said that he doesn't need to be in the WWE and that he's worked for Vince for so many years that he doesn't need the money. He's also living out on the west coast, currently and living in Vegas. Other than that, he was wearing a World Wrestling Legends shirt. Now he travels with sports card trading shows and sells autographed 8 x 10's for $20. I just figured I'd send that to you all at PWI!

I didn't know he was getting a paycheck. I didn't even know he was still with WCW before the buy out.

And I'm sure the $40 he makes at those card shows will really bring in the dough. Maybe he can go to two in one day!

Virgil should become a mentor to Orlando Jordan under JBL.

Yeah, that sounds about right. When me and a friend met Christian a couple months ago, Virgil was there, and I dished out the $20 for an autographed picture. Though he was in the process of signing the picture, so I said why not. And due to the fact, he still is pretty big and could kick my ass. But it was still cool meeting him.

LOL WCW.

I remember the time when I realised wrestling was scripted and it was because of Virgil.

Yokozuna had been killing jobbers for a few months and then Mr Fuji issued and open invitational to any WWF superstar, as soon as he said that I knew Virgil would answer the call, from the point he lost the million dollar belt I knew he was a jobber in sheeps clothing and that prooved it to me.

Oh yeah he lost.......
